Ugh i hate the night shift. I groaned. Where do i begin, first the alarm wakes up my baby brother nino so i have to spend over an hour rocking him back to sleep then I have to get ready for work I put my hair in a low ponytail with a pink rubber band and brush my teeth, and put on my work clothes and get out the door. But first I have to put Nino to sleep I make sure he's comfy his bottle to his left and his pacifier to the right. I sigh to myself I wish I could afford a babysitter I hate that I have to leave him home alone. I promise Nino it'll get better. I realize I'm about to be late and snap out of it.
Secondly, why I hate night shifts I have to walk to work and every single night I go to work at night it's so dark and cold every turn you don't know what is going on. When I'm walking I try to mind my own business. When I arrive at work which my job is at a grocery store as a, grocery bagger I go to the STAFF door and walk in It was my favorite part of work, I can be myself around my coworkers the were like my family. Except for Sabrina...
Who is Sabrina you may wonder, she works as the stocker the shelves and stuff. But we actually go to the same school we have been since elementary. We were very good friends, besties actually, then we'll she became friends with other people and so did I, I became friends with Amber and Anika. I don't know who she became friends with.
But in middle school she started going out of her way to make fun of me or trip me and practically embarrass me until I ran away to go cry in the bathrooms. She'd yell "baby Nivea" "Baby Nivea" and laugh to her friends. The worst thing is Amber and Anika didn't defend me. Not once in those 11 years.
