I woke up to someone poking at my face.
"ASPIN WAKE UP!"

I squinted my eyes as I struggled to see clearly with the sun shining in my face. Gaining focus, I looked up to see Alice waving her hands in my face.

"What do you want Alice, let me sleep" I told her.

"No get up! We have school and me and Josh are ready to go, we're gonna be late if you don't get up and drive us."

Oh no. I looked at my clock and it read 8:45. My eyes widened and I hurried out of bed, throwing my sheets around. I cant be late, I have ballet class again and with the concert coming up I can't miss any days. And I still have a class today as well. I threw on a white skater skirt and a maroon sweatshirt with a white collar underneath with some white vans.

After brushing my teeth and straightening my hair, I grabbed my backpack and duffel bag for dance and left with Josh and Alice to drop them off at school. I was so busy rushing around I completely forgot about yesterday's events, but once I dropped off Josh and Alice and I finally took a breath, it all came rushing back. I was scared to park in the same spot as last time, I mean they could still be there watching me and my daily patterns. Maybe parking further away will confuse them or throw them off track. I parked at a CVS a couple blocks away from the dance studio and started walking.

It felt nice out today, the air had a slight chill but the sun was still out warming me. Looking around at all the people and buildings, I felt at peace. This morning wasn't going very well, but it couldn't possibly get worse. Things were looking up for once today!

When I approached the parking lot I was followed at the other day, I started to feel eyes watching me again.

Ignore it ignore it ignore it ignore it ignore it

I still felt the eyes on me so I sped up my pace and hurried into RCDC. Taking a deep breath and closing my eyes, I shook off the feeling and went into Aunt Roses office.

"Look who finally decided to show up" Aunt Rose said as she stood up from her chair.

"I'm really sorry, I slept in by accident and I had to walk a couple blocks to get here." I replied. Hopefully she doesn't question why I had to walk that far to get here.

"Why on Earth would you park so far away?"

Andddd of course she had to ask.

I didn't really know what to say, so I just told her the real reason.

"Well yesterday when I walking back to my car after practice, I felt someone watching me. Sure we enough this car pulls out of alley and starts following me, so I rushed into a nearby coffee shop and it slowed down, as if they were watching me walk into it, and then just sped away. I know it could've been anything, but it really freaked me out. I didn't want them to see me park here again, I mean what if they want to get a daily pattern of what I'm doing or something? Surely parking in a different spot will throw them off. Yeah that's it." I told her, even though towards the end I was really just talking to myself.

"Aspin I think you need to lay off the coffee and get some better sleep. Are you ok?" She asked and started patting my forehead.

"I am perfectly fine, now can you please get your hand off my forehead?"

"Oh alright, but if you started feeling sick I will be more than happy to watch Josh and Alice while you rest. Your health is important and I think working so much and taking care of two kids is catching up to you." She gave me a worried look. I wanted to tell her to leave me alone, but she's one of the last people who care for me and love me like she does. I couldn't really be mad at her, she was just looking out for me.
