Back To School

Somewhere in the night my wings grew to their full size because in the morning, when my alarm went off, Juno was lying on them. “Juno, get off,” I whispered. Her head popped up slowly got off them as I shrunk my wings to the size of my hands. I got up and stretched, realized there were two holes in the back of my pajama shirt. I took off the shirt and discarded it in the trash bag on my door. Great, I though, now I’ll be wearily tanks tops to bed from now on. I was displeased by this I usually liked to be warm when I went to sleep, not to hot, not to cold. I turned my alarm and Juno laid back down keeping an eye on me making sure wouldn’t leave for another week.

I put on my favorite shirt that said; SARCASUM IS A BODYS NATURAL DEFENCE AGAINST AGAINTS STUPID! I threw on a pair of skinny jeans and a brown hoodie to help conceal the two small lumps on my back. I walked upstairs to find Luke playing on his kindle fire. I sighed and strolled to the fridge to make breakfast which included, three scrambled eggs mixed with half a slice of bread and a teaspoon of butter. If it doesn’t sound good it tastes good I’ll tell you that much.

I was halfway done making it when Sarina came out of her room with wet hair. When she noticed Luke with his kindle she said, “Turn it off, you’re too ready for the day how many times do I have to tell you!” I slid my food into a green bowl, turned off the burner and slid the pan to the side to cool off. I walked across the kitchen and opened the silverware dower to pull out a fork. When I was finished eating I rinsed my bowel and fork and placed them both in the dish washer. Then I grabbed a washed, empty jug of milk from under the sink then filled it with warm water. I put the blue cap on, got a cup of rabbit food and took it out side to feed. When I was finished I went inside and pulled my hair back into ponytail. When I was finished with that I gathered my school bag and left for the bus stop.

I arrived to school in one peace witch I was grateful for. I walk to all of my classes first to see what I missed accompanied by Lulu and Christine. I figured that Maggie would help me with all the algebra homework and everything else I guessed that I would have to fend for myself. When I was done with that the bell rang. We parted ways and I walked to STEM class. Apparently I was just in time because they were starting to make a game similar to Frogger.
I walked in and took my seat that Mr. Spiel had given me. Second row farthest from the door all the way in the back.

I patiently waited as everyone else filed in the room, when they noticed me they began to ask where I was last week. I simple replied, I was sick. When that calmed down Mr. Spiel walked in and relayed what we were doing today to the class. The announcements then came on and we all stood for the pelage. When the announcements were over Mr. Spiel dismissed us to the computer lab. In the computer lab Mr. Spiel assigned my partner, Jewel Bob. Her Idea for Frogger was a Candy Land theme. Personally, I wanted to base it on dragons and nights, but her idea seemed easier so we did hers. By the end of the hour we had finished our main agent, or the main character, and programed it to up, down, left, and right. After STEM we went to P.E.

I changed into the P.E. clothes I brought from home, not realizing how stupid my classmates were. I got in line for role the in lines of four for warm-ups. Christine was in this class as well, she was in the line next to me. I was a by stander when it happened. Christine was told to be second in line with she agreed, then Britney Long came and pushed her back to third person in line as is she wasn’t there. Christine and I had the same mean thought about her but we didn’t dare say it aloud.

First we had to jog to the end of the court multiple times because no one could Shut-up when we got to the other end. We only did the next four warm-ups once, then we did 105 push-ups because some people couldn’t count to five, I was crying half way through because I was the only one doing good push-ups and I was the only one still out on the floor. It was also extremely hard for me to keep my wings from moving around. Thankfully Mrs. Turing said I could be done at 75 because I was the only one going good push-ups. After that, we had three sets of one minute planks. After that we were all done and I was disappointed. We were supposed to play dodge ball but obviously warm-ups took up most of the hour. I was happy and sad when they said we could play a ten minute game of rescue dodge ball. Fourth hour Lulu sits next to me and always finds a way to cause mischief. Today she decided she was hungry.

“Hey,” she whispered during the Lewis and Clark Movie. “I’m hungry.” I nodded in my own hunger, I pick up my jacket and covered my hands. I pictured two Cuties and mentally said the name. When I could feel the two Cuties in my hands I handed one to Lulu and kept the other for myself. Algebra was confusing and science I caught on to what was going on. Fifth hour always seemed to bring something exciting. Today it was the kid next to me, Quinton. He always wears a teal hoodie, jeans and sometimes shorts, and neon yellow sneakers.

“So,” he said when I sat down, “where ya been?” He gave me a silly look that made me smile always.

“I was sick,” I said.

He laughed and gave me his evil grin, “Oh really?” he said and tazed my side. I punched him as hard as I could which he said, to my dismay, weak. When chaotic class was over, fifth hour, I went to my last class Language Arts, and again was sitting next to Quinton. We were working on Business letters and I was done with my first one in an hour while everyone else had had one week. Homebase was quick but I was called out last second. Confused I gathered my things and walked to the office. I was shocked to see Rose waiting for me.

“Hello Sue,” she said.

“Err…hi.” I replied and followed her out the door to a white breath taking Safari.
