So, since I've been stressed out lately due to ✨current events✨ I've decided to finally update this book with something because writing gay shit de-stresses me and I tend to get some serious fucking writer's block lmao.

Also, thank you BlueHasArrived (no seriously thank you) for commenting about updating, because I also somehow managed to forget this book fucking existed.

Anyways, a slight trigger warning for homophobia, since it does get briefly discussed.

All that said, hope y'all have a good day and enjoy. 💜

Also, non-canon to my The Show Must Go On AU.

"Hey boss, got the place all closed and cleaned up for the night."

William looked at Vincent and gave him a nod. "Alright. You have a good night, Vince. Say hi to your wife for me."

Vincent nodded and gave a little wave before sauntering towards the exit.

That man's hair gets longer every time I see him... Either that or it seems to be another shade of purple... No use in thinking about that.

William walked towards the security office and entered. He looked around, making sure nothing was left behind by Vincent or Joey by accident, then walked over to the monitors.

We really need to upgrade our security system... But there's just something so pleasing about the way the office currently looks.

One by one, he turned the monitors on, though once he turned on the 4th monitor, he started to hear a noise.

... Is that, an arcade machine?

He stays hunched over, finger hovering above the on button for one of the monitors as he listened.

... That sounds like someone is actively playing it-

He stood straight up and headed out of the office and towards the arcade, internally already planning on how he's going to chew Vincent out for lying about making sure everyone was gone from the building. Or not doing a good enough job.

He walked into the arcade and looked around to see which game was in use and then...

"Oh my god, it's just you." William sighed, relieved.

"Hi Will." the figure replied, not even peeling his eyes away from the screen of the large machine. William walked over and joined his side.

"What are you doing so late? ... Here so late? God I need a coffee." William groaned.

"I figured I'd stick around. Something personal I needed to talk to you about." Henry replied. Still, his eyes did not peel away from the arcade machine.

"Galaga... God, this game is old... We were 8 when this came out, I think." William said, watching Henry play.

"Pff. I was 5. You were 7." Henry replied, before going silent for a few moments and then adding, "Well, I think we were anyways. It's hard to remember the time anymore."

"Guess that's what happens when you stop celebrating your birthday." William joked. Henry laughed a little. "Yeah."

The space ship Henry was controlling got destroyed and a game over screen appeared. "Damn."

Finally, Henry looked over at him. "Wanna give it a shot?"

"It's been awhile, but sure." William replied with a shrug. Henry handed him some quarters. William took them and stepped up before sliding the quarters in and getting to playing.
