Percy had been staying with the hunt for a few weeks now. Thalia had begged her mistress to let Percy stay after his break-up with Annabeth. After a LOT of persuasion, Artemis grudgingly allowed the male to stay within the hunter's ranks.
Even though she would never admit it, but the decision to let Percy stay with the hunt was one of the best decisions Artemis had ever made. His charm, charisma, loyalty, innocence, respect, and of course, sass, was drawing to her. She was slowly falling for him.
She started spending more time with Percy. From going on solo hunts with him to rides on the moon chariot. Of course, no one knew about the rendezvous on the moon chariot. If they had, the big secret would not be a secret, seeing Artemis had killed men for even looking at the chariot much less ride it.
However, the general shift in Artemis' nature did not go unnoticed by the hunters. They were aware of the glances that were thrown between their mistress and Percy.
Of course, the hunt was none too happy about the developments between their lady and the male, but Thalia convinced them to at least give Percy a chance. So, they had been observing Percy for days, watching how the male treated their Lady.
By the end of their, er, observations, they all decided on one thing. The eternal man-haters were extremely ticked off at how much painfully oblivious the two lovebirds were to the other's feelings. They all came to the conclusion to interfere.
What did they decide to do?
The fearsome maidens of Artemis decided to play match-making.
The second part will be uploaded on the day my attempts at making falafel truly pay off. So, yeah, in a day or two. Hopefully.
