After me and Echo were cool and got to know each other a bit more I realized that I expected having a kid to raise in my house would be under different circumstances during a different time, and you know actually with someone.

Ain't it strange how the world works..?

As I edited the video, Echo sat next to me and we just talked about stuff she liked, books she read, shows she watched before all of this. She never talked about where she lived and avoided the mention of her past friends and family entirely.  She'd just shut down and stop talking, looking right ahead. I quickly got the point. God I knew I had some things I didn't like to talk about.  But she was going to have to talk about it someday.  The past catches up with us all.

I converted it and put it up. I knew the reaction would be slightly different since this wasn't a normal YouTube collab. I was hoping that Echo's debut on the channel would be taken some what positively and not have any negative comments, but asking the comment section to be nice is like asking a teenage boy not to draw a dick somewhere. Unlikely.

As I was waiting for the video to upload, Cheyenne called me on Skype. I answered her, putting her on speaker and setting the phone up so she could see both me and Echo while I looked for a thumbnail picture.

"Hey babe," I said.

"Hey babe." Echo repeated in a mocking high pitched voice.

I glared at Echo. "Echo, I'm flipping you off", I said, doing just that.

She repeated what I said again, in that same high pitched mocking voice. I could hear Chey's laughter coming from my phone and Echo soon burst into giggles as well.

"Hey Echo, I'm Cheyenne," Chey said.

Once Echo regained her composure she answered back. "Hey. Nice to meet ya."

"Likewise. So has Cry finally stopped being a shit and included you in some stuff?"

"Fuck you", I replied as Echo laughed once more.

"Yeah, he did. We just recorded a video" she said, all excited.  That kind of brought a smile to my face.  I turned towards my phone and Cheyenne was giving me a knowing look. I stuck my tongue out at her.

"Echo, you joining stream this week?" she asked.

A crease formed between Echo's brow as she frowned, uncertain. She reached out for me and I slipped my hand into hers and pulled it towards my face.  I smiled and nodded so she knew I was okay with it.

"Your decision though," I said," You can answer questions in chat, talk to the guys, help us out. Plus you haven't met Jund yet."

"Do all of you have weird ass names?" she wondered out loud and I heard Cheyenne snort and say "Hey!" as I chuckled.

"Says a girl named Echo"

"That's not my name. You never asked for my name."

"What's your name, then?"

"Echo. Nice to meet you. "

"Oh, hey, I'm Cry, nice to meet you too. You around here often?"

"Oh yeah. I lived in a dumpster down the street for a while before this asshole let me live with him"

My jaw dropped at her sarcasm, not believing that she made a joke about what happened. Cheyenne was laughing her ass off.

"Oh my god", Cheyenne said between fits of laughter, "You should see the look on his face right now. Priceless." I scowled.
