Sleepover

I ring the doorbell to Christina's house.

"Tris! Come in!"

I step inside and see that everyone is here already-Marlene,Shauna and Lynn. I take my shoes off and follow them into the kitchen. We all take a seat at the table and grab a slice of pizza from the box. When i touch the crust it is warm in my hands.

"Soooooooo," Christina starts with her regular girly voice, "What's going on with you and number boy?" I look up at her and realize she's talking to me.

"I don't know what are you talking about," I say, trying to dodge the subject. I take a big bite of my pizza.

"Ohhhh please," Marlene cuts in. "You guys were so obvious at lunch. You know, just staring into each others' eyes for like, only five minutes."

I feel myself intensely blushing. "So?" I retort. "I just met him. We're just friends."

"That's what they all say," Lynn mumbles.

"I ship it." Shauna says out of nowhere. "I ship you two. You guys would make the perfect couple."

"Oh my gosh. You guys are impossible." I whine.

"No Tris, i don't think you get it. Four doesn't take interest in girls. He couldn't care less, and can't be bothered. I'd say this is the first time I've seen him...curious." Christina's words get me thinking. Four is extremely handsome, and buff. He could get any girl he wants. But he's not a player?

I don't respond after that, and thankfully Lynn changes the subject to some new movie coming out next week. As I'm finishing my pizza, i pretend to listen but i can't stop thinking about Four. Sure, I'm attracted to him, but do i like him?

After we've all finished we head upstairs to Christina's room, too lazy to clean the table. We chitchat for a while and then go to sleep.

In my dreams i am visited by a certain someone with deep blue eyes...

Author's Note: Sorry this chapter was so short and boring! I promise that Fourtris WILL happen, but it will take time. I think it's inportant that they become friends and get to know eachother before they get together. Anyway, my goal is to update again tomorrow and maybe on Saturday or Sunday. Stay tuned!
