Amrutha pov

I closed my eyes praying for Dhruv.

" Mamma....where are we going," he asked me in a baby voice.

" To see Dhruv..." I answered.

"Who is he?" he asked me.

I can't say loudly, " Dhruv is my soulmate"

" He is your mama's friend" Aditya answered.

" Why are you crying mama....? " he asked me.

I turned my head and closed my eyes....

Author POV

Amrutha saw Dhruv for the first time in her college. Their first meeting was quite different. She doesn't know Dhruv is her brother's best friend whereas Dhruv also had no idea about Amrutha.

After she slapped him at the college. Karthik and Amrutha went with Dhruv in his car. All the way home, Dhruv didn't speak anything. On the other side, Amrutha was so scared that Dhruv will give a complaint to Arvind on her.

While getting down from the car, she requested like a small kid to Dhruv to not complain about her.

Dhruv laughed at her cute pleading face and agreed that he will not say anything to her brother. She thanked Dhruv and went into her house.

She felt so relaxed after Dhruv's assurance. She slept peacefully that night. The next day, as usual Karthik came to her home to pick her to the college.

As she was getting ready in her room, Karthik was waiting for Amrutha in the living room. Karthik talks with her dad and Arvind for a few minutes.

When Karthik and Amrutha started to college, Arvind asked to meet him after she returns from her college.

She nodded her head looking at Karthik skeptically.

" Did you tell my brother about the previous day incident?" Priya asked Karthik.

" No...yaar. Why will I tell you that you slapped my brother? I think my brother only informed your brother" Karthik said doubtfully.

They together went to college, even though she is in the classroom. She was worried about her brother scolding after she reaches her home. With fear, she didn't eat the lunch she took with her. Till the evening, Amrutha stayed quiet. Her best friend, Midhuna noticed her gloomy face and asked the reason. She explained everything to her friend and started crying.

Midhuna consoled Amrutha not to get worried. As usual, after completing college, she waited for Karthik. He dropped her at home and left for his house. To escape from his brother's scolding she silently took steps towards her room.

To her bad luck, her father called Amrutha to bring some water to his room.

She stood like a statue with her father's word. At the same time, she noticed her brother descending the stairs. Her eyes widen with fear.

She thought that she could not escape from her brother's scolding. She gave water to his father and went to meet her brother.

" Go and fresh up, I will talk with you later," Arvind told Amrutha.

She took bath and got ready quickly. Then she went to meet her brother in his room. To her surprise, she noticed Dhruv in her brother's room.

" I requested you to not tell the truth that I slapped you then why did you complain, my brother. You are very bad. " Amrutha yelled at Dhruv.
