Tennis Practice Struggles

All the tennis club members started to panic around and make commotion about a girl in a boys tennis team.

'She's a girl. She can't be on the tennis team.'

'I bet she's weak and easy.'

'I could probably beat her.'

I was about to comeback when Ryuzaki ba-chan stepped in and yelled, "HORA! LISTEN YOU PEOPLE!! THIS GIRL CAN BEAT ALL OF US HERE, EVEN TEZUKA THE BUCHOU SO UNLESS YOU CAN BEAT EVERYONE HERE, YOU CAN'T TALK."

Everyone became silent and their jaws dropped at the girl who could beat their buchou in tennis.

"Yuki. Welcome to the boys tennis club."

"Mn." Then, I was suddenly bombarded with questions by a red head and a black haired boy.

"You're related to Echizen/ Ochibi? You could beat Tezuka?"

Kuni-chan coughed and they both quickly moved away from me. " Momo and Eiji, 10 laps." I could see him blushing and I felt bad for his wounded pride. Ryoma then decided to introduce me to the regulars and my future teammates.

"Onee-chan, this is Inui-sempai and do NOT ever try his juices. This is Ooishi-fukubuchou. He's our mother hen." Everyone regular laughed at that and fukubuchou blushed.

"This is Kaidou-sempai who specializes in stamina."

"Fshuuu....."

"This is Kawamura-sempai."

"BURNING!"

"The person who is like a cat is Kikumaru-sempai."

"Hoi hoi! Hi Ochibi's onee-chan!"

"And this is Momo-sempai who doesn't eat, but swallows everything."

"Oi Echizen. You shouldn't treat a sempai like that. You shouldn't."

"And it seems that you already know buchou and Fuji-sempai."

"Hoi. Is it really true you can beat Tezuka?!" Kikumaru asked.

"Hm... I think so, but I don't know how much he's improved in two years, but I can beat Ryoma."

"Che..."

Kuni-chan suddenly interrupted and started practice. "Regulars go to Court A, Non regulars go to Court B, and freshmen, get ready to pick up balls."

Inui presented to us a training menu and we played a practice match random lots. We were playing with the players who had our numbers. I picked out the number 4 and I found my partner quickly when Kikumaru shouted out his number after Inui told us not to.

I decided to lost the first 2 games to see what tricks Kikumaru had and what his tennis style. Of course I started to hear the rumors some non regulars started to pass around.

'She's lost two games. I doubt she beat buchou.'

I soon proved them wrong when I sped up my pace and without using any tricks, just using service and return aces, I won the game 6-2.

"Hah...You're really strong Yuki-chan..."

He was panting on the ground after the game and I crossed over the net, reaching a hand out for him. He smiled amd took my hand.

"Kikumaru, I'd like to play you again and maybe we can help your stamina problem."

His eyes widened and he soon hugged me. "Of course Yuki-chan! Nya! Ochibi's sister is so nice! Unlike Ochibi!"

Ryoma heard that and glared at Kikumaru.

"Eep." Kikumaru hid behind me away from Ryoma's glare while I giggled. Soon practice was over and Kuni-chan and Syu-chan decided to walk me home while Ryoma went with Momo and Kikumaru to get burgers.

I held both their hands while walking home, swinging their arms around.

"Are you going to visit Seiichi, Genichirou, and Keigo?" Syu-chan asked.

"Mm. Yeah, but keep it a secret neh Kuni-chan? Syu-chan?"

"Of course, right Tezuka?"

"Ah."

"Mou." I pouted. "You talk less and less everyday. You have a beautiful voice Kuni-chan. I don't know why you prefer to reply with one word."

Soon there was a blush on Tezuka's face. "Saa... he started to talk less when you left Yuki."

"Really? Kuni-chan why?"

*Cough* "Nothing. It's nothing."

"Kuni-chan!!!!!! Telll me!!!!" I whined.

I bothered him the rest of the way home and Syu-chan laughed at my stubbornness.
