The last thing I remember is I had been engulfed in nothing but darkness, siting in a room. There are these bright hazel eyes, in the farthest corner on the right of the room staring back at me intensly.
I sucked in a breath and let out a small curse as the thing disappears into the room.
I hear footsteps getting closer and closer to me. Panicked, I blindly reach out trying to feel for a doorknob, finding one, I unlock it and shut it forcefully behind me.
Without a second thought, I bold down what looks like a hallway in the dimmed lights, looking for an escape.
I don't know why I did it, but I looked back. That was a big mistake because when I turned my head over my shoulder, all the color drained out of my face.
The door previously shut, was now wide open with a figure standing in the doorway.
I pause in shock, not knowing where to go because the hallway seemed endless.
I just stood there looking at the figure dead in the eyes.
It started to come towards me in a predatory manner. I slowly walked back while it kept creeping closer and closer.
Soon I could make out the figure, it was a man in a black hoodie and black combat boots. He could have been about 5'11 or 6'1 compared to me, since I stood at an average height of 5'6.
But I was gonna doubt it, I broke out in run and I heard his heavy footsteps, I ran even faster knowing that he was running right behind me.This place was like a maze, but I think I managed to lose him since he wasn't behind me any more, and took this as my chance to breath.
I see a door and rush to it, fortunately it was unlocked. I slowly opened the door trying not to make a sound, and went in closing it behind me.
This room was lite with some light, but dim like the ones in the hallway. I lean against the door and feel less like I'm about to die, now I could calm my heart rate down.
After what felt like hours, I muster up enough courage and energy to peak out the door.
I slightly twisted the doorknob, hoping I'm quiet enough. I creek the door open just enough to peak my head out.
What I see shocks me. The person that was chasing me is standing right in front of me leaning on the wall.
I gape at him trying to figure out what to do. Before I can process it, he grabs my arm roughly and yanks me forwards, making me fall into him. He's hugging me, instead of hurting me. I thought, confused. Which I am not mad about. And he is so warm, yet he doesn't have a heart beat.I look up at him through the bangs in my hair and he looks down at me. He doesn't speak just stares. I go to ask him what is wrong with you. Though I don't get the chance to because as soon as I open my mouth he whispers, "don't forget me." Then quickly lets me go reluctantly and disappears into thin air. I am left looking at the wall where he had previously been thinking of only two words, how and why.
I feel light headed and I turn around to go back in the room, earlier I didn't look around it too much but it is a bedroom and has a mirror. When I look in it I touch my face, my hand goes through. I look like I'm fading away. I become panicked but my eyes start to feel heavy, seconds later I find myself falling to the floor, fainting.
