you glared at the paper in front of you, eyebrows furrowed in confusion as your eyes roamed the cluster of numbers before you.
you let out a frustrated groan, burying your head in your arms in fatigue. your school had given you a whole week off of school, much to your joy. that wasn't until a few of your teachers decided to hand out assignments for you to work on during your break, saying that it was 'important' for your being.
they weren't wrong, school is important and not everyone is lucky enough to get the education they need. but your school already gives you so much work on a daily; constantly assigning long essays, worksheets, projects, and whatnot. was it that bad that students needed a break?
'what the fuck does this question mean?'
although school doesn't start again until a few days, you being you, wanted to finish them quickly so that you'd have plenty of free time afterwards.
'i can ask sarukui for help, but there's no guarantee that he'd respond right away. hajime probably wouldn't wanna deal with mathematics at this time,
akinori should be asleep by now, akaashi as well...'
despite akaashi being a year younger than you, you'd often find yourself going to him when you were in need of help with your studies. the kid was smart, and he never failed to impress you with his knowledge.
'i'm screwed...'
just then, as if a light bulb had gone off in your head, an idea came to your mind.
'the number that akinori gave me... i haven't deleted it yet, should i ask that person?'
you hesitated,
it was risky, of course, at no point in your your life had you imagined texting a stranger for a math lecture, but with your family being occupied with work, and most of your friends asleep, you knew this was the best choice for now- predominantly because your stubborn and impatient self was not willing to wait until the following day to ask your friends.
'i guess it's worth a try...'
heaving out a deep sigh, you walked over to your bed where your phone lied.
