Chapter 7- She's Back

*Hiccups POV*

I am in my room, just talking with Merida. we're taking about everything, how much we miss Punz, our life, this problem with Demetria... Just everything. We are currently discussing how much we miss our families when there is a light knock at the door. Odd, it was the same sort of knock that Rapunzel did... Wow, I'm missing her too much. I open the door, expecting Jack, but I'm faced with Rapunzel and Jack. But Rapunzel has short, brown hair. I stood there, gobsmacked at the girl in front of me. 

"Hi guys." she simply said looking between Merida and I. 

"Do you see her too?" I turn back around to face Merida to see her nod her head, red hair bouncing everywhere with the gesture. 

"But how? When? I- You- What?" I ask, not bothering to hide the confusion thats evident in my voice and, no doubt, on my face.

"Punzie here, is going to explain what and how, so dont worry." Jack says, nodding in approval. I take a step to my right so the two can come into my small room. Once we're all seated somewhere, whether it be on the floor, my bed, or a chair, Rapunzel begins. 

"Okay, before I start, no questions until I'm finished, okay?" She states. a chorus of 'yep's was obviously good enough for her, because she started to explain.

"Alright, so, after I... died, I was in this place, I think it was heaven, I dont know, but it was all white. literally white everywhere, I couldnt even see where the walls were because they were white. Anyway, after what felt like a week, a man came to me. He said his name was Castiel and that he was an angel. He said that God wanted to give me a second chance. But if I wanted to take the offer, I had to give something back in return. And I had to give back my power to heal. My hair. So of couse I couldn't not take the chance of seeing you guys again, and defeating Demetria, so I took it. I cut off my hair and I somehow was just here."

Once she fnished I finally took it all in. That answered like twenty questions of mine, thankfully. 

"I dont care, I'm just glad you're alive!" Merida exclaimed, throwing her arms around Rapunzels neck and looking like she would never let go. When the moment came that she did let go I took the chance to ask the pondering thought. 

"Wait, you said what seemed like a week, right? You were gone for a month." Punz looked at me in disbelief. She looked at the other two and they nodded slowly. I tried to think of a good explanation for it, but none came, so I looked at her, awaiting the reason.

"I have no clue... a month? Really? I'm truly sorry guys, I'm sorry. I'm so so so so sorry! I didnt know it was a month it felt like a week, if not less! Maybe I couldn't tell because all the time it was just white, I had no idea of how to tell if it where day or night, week or month. I'm sorry I kept you guys waiting for me... I'm sorry." Punz vented going on and on. 

"Punzie! It's okay! It wasnt your fault, don't blame yourself. You're here now and that's all that matters!" Jack explained giving her a hug. 

"Well, well, well. What a nice little reunion!" A voice rang through the room. Her voice.

Demetria.

"What do you want?" I asked, hatred pure in my voice. 

"Oh now Hiccup, I dont like that tone of yours. I just came to see the get together from dear Rapunzels death." she replied, staring daggers at Rapunzel. 

 "Well you've seen it, now go away. Or we'll kill you." Merida threatened, her fingertips already starting to catch fire. 

"You? Haven't you forgotten? Rapunzel has to do it, otherwise, it won't work honey. And as far as I'm concerned.. Rapunzel doesn't have her powers anymore, considering she left them in heaven, or hell, wherever she went." Demetria explained smiling to herself. 

No! If Rapunzel doesn't have her powers... How can we defeat her? I look at Punz, to find the other two looking at her as well, but Rapunzel wasn't looking at any of us. Her stare was directly on Demetria along with a small smirk. 

"Oh Demetria" she started, lifting her arms up to shoulder-height. Once again proving me and everyone else's thoughts incorrect.

"How wrong you are."

hi all! 

I just wanted to start off by saying i'm so sorry for not updating in like 10 years! But hopefully updates will come more often now because.... 

i got a new laptop! so i wont have to udate from my ipad anymore. yay! 

and to finish off with a sad note... the book is almost finished :( and unfortunately i will not be doing a third book. i want to focus more on other ideas as well, im currently thinking of doing an avengers book, based off the movie but i still dont know yet. but i am, aswell, doing a 'small stories' book that is just a collection of small stories or whatever that ive written and i would be very thankful if you checked that out! but as of this book i think ive only got one or two chapters remaining :(
