First things first, don’t hit a metal bull in the head with a stick. I know from personal experience it will get very, very mad. I let my wings out and shot in the air trying to avoid the metal horns ready to pierce my abdomen. I ripped my sword pendant necklace and watched it grow into my three foot long celestial bronze weapon. You might be wondering what I am, I’m the daughter of Apollo and Alexandra. Apollo as in the god of music and all that jazz. Alexandra was a full phoenix. She sacrificed herself in order to save me. I later learned that instead of reviving herself she gave her life force to me. That’s why I’m as powerful as I am. Yeah...I read too much. I landed on the bull and instantly regretted my decision to wear shorts. The heat burned my skin on my inner thighs and I bit back a cry of pain.

Man I have to get better at explaining situations. Earlier that day I was trying to take a nap when my half brother Will Solace Iris messaged me telling me the camp was being attacked. Now you’re all caught up and I was riding a fricken metal bull that Hephestus made. I raised my sword, my wings were in my back again in the form of a pair of red wing tattoos. I slammed my sword into one of the bull’s gaps and thank the gods I hit the control box. The bull turned and twitched, it’s back shot up. Launching me into the air, I didn't have time to call my wings before I slammed back to the ground. The bull exploded sending a wave of heat my way. I shook my head out of my dazed state and my eyes fell on a familiar boy with black hair and green eyes.

“Elena!” Percy exclaimed excitement in his eyes. He ran over and helped me up.

“Hey Seaweed Brain.” I said.

“Yayy Elena’s here great! Now can we please stop the metal bull in camp?” Annabeth asked, crossing her arms.

I rolled my eyes at her sarcasm and summoned my wings, I found my sword on the ground. I picked it up and saw a guy with one eye.

Cool. I thought.

I gave a two finger salute, “See you on the flip side.” I joked before flying off.

Annabeth had been snappy with me before but she’d gotten worse ever since Percy and I started dating last summer. Him and I had been together for almost a year. I was getting a little annoyed and my patience was thinning with every sarcastic and annoyed remark that left her mouth. The bull charged at my friends who stood there not knowing what to do. I saw Percy summoning Riptide but the big one-eyed guy went forward first. I lowered back down to the ground and watched in awe.

“Bad Cow!” the guy screamed.

The bull shot fire out of its no nostrils and I watched in horror as the guy was burned alive. Except when the fire died down, the boy was untouched even his clothes were fine. I was confused and so was the bull. It turned away in confusion before the guy gripped the horns and threw it across the field. The bull shattered on impact once it hit the ground. I brought my sword to my chest so it could change back into my necklace.

“That’s one way to get rid of a colchis bull.” I chuckled.

“Tyson...how?” Percy asked.

“He’s a cyclops Percy, they work in the forges of Posiedon. They have to be fireproof.” Annabeth stated. The way she said cyclops bothered me, she made it seem like it was such a bad thing.

“He's a baby by the looks of it, tossed to the streets. They’re born when a god and a nymph get together- er one god in particular. They’re mistakes Percy-”

“Okay that’s enough Annabeth! Don’t you have any decency, he’s right there.” I snarled.

I walked over to Tyson who had his head down, he’d obviously heard what Annabeth had said.
