"One of you is going to die." Gaea hissed cruelly and thrust her dirt javalin toward Annabeth.

"No!" Percy screamed and jumped infront of Annabeth. The javalin caught him sqaure in the chest. He looked down at the blood gushing out of the wound, the stained red orange Camp Half-Blood shirt and the Javalin protuding out of his gut. Percy Jackson collpased onto the groun, his blood streamed from his wound into the ground below him, forming a small puddle. Standing over him was the dirt body of Gaea, crackling in joy at her success.

"Told you your death would be worse than Gorgon's blood!" She laughed savage boring a wide, cruel grin on her face. She prepared to be finished with the demigod towering over him and raised her mud sword, but her luck would not last.

Using all of his last strength, Percy lifted his sword and decapitated the dirt monster. Then he summoned a final wave, dissolving the unfortunate Earth Mother's ashes. Percy had sacrificed himself to save the world, to save Olympus.

"Why?!" Annabeth screamed as she raced to his side. Tears flowed down her cheek. "Why did you do it Percy?!!" Annabeth gently cradled his head in her lap. She shakily grasped Percy's hand, as if she were clinging on to her dear life. Annabeth quickly reached into her pack and fumbled through it until she got an emergency packet of ambrosia. She began to force feed Percy.

"Pretty stupid of me, eh?" He croaked feebly and tried to lift his other hand to touch Annabeth's face. Annabeth cried and buried her face into her shirt.

"You have to stay with us." She insisted, the blood of Percy staining her shirt.

"Heal the others," Percy groaned, his shirt was stained with blood, the javalin that had impalled him still buried in his gut, "I'm done for." He looked away into the distance, as if his eyes were a mile away.

"Never." Annabeth replied and pulled close to Percy's face and kissed it. "You'll live to see another day." She whispered softly. Though, Percy wished she didn't sound more like she was trying to convince herself.

"I love you Annabeth." Percy muttered and stared into the distance.

"You promised me! You promised that you would stay with me, forever!" Annabeth said, half through tears. Percy had helped her through the Titan War, he had journeyed with her through Tartarus, she wasn't going to lose her precious seaweed brain. Percy was more than just her boyfriend, Percy was part of her life. Slowly and fragilely, she lifted Percy into a stretcher and carried him to the Argo II.

"What's up cupcakes?" Coach Hedge welcomed as he drank a coke and ate the can. But, he quickly crumpled at the sight of Percy's body in such a horrible condition.

"What happened?" Jason sighed in relief but quickly panicked as he and the other demigods raced toward Percy.

"Oh my gods." Piper wailed and covered her mouth. Annabeth slowly slid Percy's stretcher onto the deck. Then she continued to cry, forming a puddle. Piper tightly hugged her and soothed her with her voice.

"Heal him!" Jason pleaded.

"I'll try." Coach Hedge replied and nodded grimly. Instantly, he went to work with his woodland magic. After a while, he looked up, with stains of blood on his shirt and shook his head. "I can't fix it." He replied gloomily and looked down onto the deck. Even Leo wasn't joking around anymore. Boring a serious and pained face, he navigated toward Camp Half-Blood.

Percy coughed up blood and opened his eyes, "I won't last long."

"Stay with us!" Annabeth pleaded and kissed Percy. "We'll stay together! Tell me about New Rome!"

"*Cough* I thought *cough,* you would like the *cough* architecture." Percy said between coughs. "Promise me you won't go to Hades realm until it's your time ok Annabeth? I saved your life because I wanted to, don't waste it." He pleaded with those sea green eyes.

"I-I c-can't." Annabeth cried and sobbed even harder.

Percy gripped her hand harder and looked her square in the eye. "You can okay? Don't let me down."

Percy then glanced toward Jason and said, "Guide us home, okay? You'll be the new leader now." Jason nodded and wiped tears from his glasses. Jason opened his mouth to say something but cut himself out. Then Percy looked back towards Annabeth, his eyes filled with regret and pain. "See you in Elysium Wise Girl." He whispered in a slightly audible tone, and smiled sadly, his breath already getting weaker. A singlw tear slid down his cheek, but before it could hit the cold, hard surface of the Argo II, Percy was already dead. With a final sigh, his hand fell slack. The sparkle and life disappeared from his eyes. Moonlight shined against Percy's non-moving and sickly pale face.

"No, Percy don't leave me! Please! You have a life to live, wake up Seaweed Brain!" Annabeth screamed and shook Percy's dead body that flumped around. But Percy Jackson, the twice savior of Olympus wasn't slumbering, Percy Jackson, was dead.
