It's now been a year since Hinata and I became teammates. I'm not sure why but I've been getting this weird rush of feelings when I'm with Hinata. My heart starts pounding and I just can't concentrate.
Hinata turns around to greet me, but I ignore him.
"What's your deal?" Hinata says to be, but once again, I ignore him.

{Later during practice}

We are about to perform our special attack, but I get distracted.
I see his lips move, but I hear nothing. All I see is his tall orange hair flow in the breeze he makes as he jumps higher than he's ever jumped before.
"Wait why am I thinking like this?" I say in a whisper.
"Kageyama, what the hell!?" I hear Hinata yell in surprise.
"What happened? You seemed distracted, I've never seen that from you before..."
"Chill out I'm fine. now get back to your spot."

{After the Game}

"Hey is it ok if I stay at your place tonight?" Hinata says kindly.
"Hu-"
"I know it's kind of sudden Kageyama, but my parents just called me saying they're heading out of town for a few days because my grandmother had a heart attack..."
"I suppose it's ok, but no energy drinks for you."
"Thanks! Got it! OOOOHHH I learned a ne-"
"And no being hyper!
Hinata gives me a thumbs up and heads of to his house to get some clothes.

As I'm walking back to my house I find myself wondering whether my bedroom is messy or dirty. Normally I wouldn't care at all, but for some reason, no I am.
I head up to my room to put my bag down and change out of my uniform.
I head downstairs after I've changed out.
I see a letter on the counter of my kitchen reading, "We won't be back home till past midnight, call me if you're having a friend over."
I call my mom to respect her wishes.
Not long after I hang up the phone I hear a knock on the door. I expect to see Hinata, but it was just the damn kids next door kicking their soccer ball at my door.
I decide to do the right thing and serve a volleyball into their window and run back inside.
I hide in my room expecting angry neighbors, so when I hear a knock on the door I don't answer.
I hear my phone ringing, it's Hinata.
"Hey, what's up? Are you almost here?"
"I'm actually here, I knocked."
"Oh sorry... On my way downstairs."
I twist the doorknob and pull the door open.
"Hey. Come in before the neighbors see me."
"Why are you worried about your neighbors seeing you?"
"I sorta kinda, chucked a volleyball at their window and broke it..."
"Uh- Ok then... Where should I put my stuff"
"Here let me."
I head upstairs holding Hinata's things and lead him to my room."
"Wow! You're so organized!"
"Thanks, I guess. Do you want a drink and a snack?"
"Sure! Got any pretzels?"
"Yeah, I assume you want some water as well?"
"Ah, no one knows me better than you!" Hinata winks at me after speaking.
As I'm heading downstairs to grab his pretzels and water, I for some reason keep replaying his wink in my head.
I trip and fall down the stairs when I realize why I'm having these thoughts. I like Hinata...
