Sunny closed the cabin door and looked at Taehyung. "You know something that I don't. Spill it."
Taehyung held his hand to his chest and smiled at his wife. "I'm honored you would finally admit I am smarter than you."
Sunny rolled her eyes and went over and sat across her husband's lap, laying her head against his with a sigh. "I will always freely admit that. You have lived almost 600 years more than me."
"True. I have some pretty impressive experience," he muttered, laying a soft kiss on her neck.
"You're not going to change the subject," said Sunny. "What is really going on?"
Taehyung sighed at his plans being foiled and turned his head back to Jaci, whose brow was wrinkled tightly. "I honestly do not know. But I have theories. I want to hear that wolf witch doctor's ideas first though."
Sunny giggled quietly and lightly smacked her husband's firm chest. "Be nice. Alright, handsome, I will allow you to string me along just this once, but know that as soon as one of your theories is confirmed you better let me in on the secret."
Taehyung looked up at his wife with an adoring smile and puckered his lips for a kiss. She obliged and pulled away, smiling and resting her forehead against his. The coolness of their foreheads dissipated and was filled with warmth.
Taehyung tightened his arms around her waist a little more, breathing in the cinnamon scent that clouded heavier around his wife when she was experiencing emotions related to love. It made him heady and feel like he was alive and human once again. It filled him with feelings like love, security, and warmth.
He shifted his head and pressed a hot kiss to her collarbone. "We shouldn't be doing this in front of the infirmed."
Sunny giggled, her cheeks blushing bright red. "I agree."
She looked back at Jaci and her smile slipped into a worried frown. "I hope Ga-Eun can help her. If not, I don't know what will happen to her."

Jungkook ran across the moonlit snow, dodging the large pines. All that he could think about was getting back to that cabin and making sure Jaci was okay.
It puzzled him why he felt so strongly about that. She meant nothing to him. He wasn't even really responsible for her injuries. Perhaps it was simply because she had been injured by a fellow wolf that he felt the need to make sure everything turned out okay for her.
He splashed through a shallow place in the riverbed and stepped his paws into fresh, cool grass. He breathed in the scents of new beginnings and dew covered earth. He loved those scents.
But hers was even better than that this time.
He skidded to a stop and caught his breath for a second. Why did he think that? She was a human and that alone could explain the changes in her scent. Human scent was always changing in some way.
He nodded to himself and took off once more. He needed to find Ga-Eun and bring her back to the Kim's cabin. Jaci really needed some help before that wound got worse.
"LUNA!" he growled as he ran up to the Alpha and Luna's cabin.
Lights flipped on and Hoseok opened the door, his hair poking in all directions. He peered into the darkness with one eye squinted shut.
"Kook?" he said, voice gravelly from sleep.
"Alpha, I need Luna to come with me. The human needs her expertise."
Ga-Eun came up being her husband, tugging her terry cloth robe tighter around her. "Kookie? What's going on?"
"Luna, I need you. Can you come to the Kim's with me? Please, Luna, the human needs you." Jungkook paced anxiously in front of the pair, his hackles raised, his tail fluffed. His anxiety was building with every minute he was away from Jaci.
