I'm not the only one

CHAPTER I

Nayeon awoke early in the morning when she heard a gentle chatter and laughter outside their room.

What's the fuss this early?

"Love?" Nayeon said as she relaxed her eyes looking at Jeongyeon's mural painting on the wall before tapping her phone on the bedside table to check the time.

5:08 A.M.

"Love?" Nayeon said the second time around as she received no response.

The noise came to lower down that made Nayeon wonder if it was just her imagination or if she's dreaming still.

Nayeon turned sideways, leaned her face on the pillow for a moment and wrapped her body in a soft blanket. Her eyes roamed around until their photo caught her attention and made her reach for it from the table.

This is our first photo during my birthday. And it still make me feel jubilant whenever I lay my eyes on these.

Nayeon's smile was all ears as she reminisce the moment they shared bacl during college. She was so overwhelmed, she ended up hugging and embracing it.

"Knock, knock." a voice came from outside their room snapped Nayeon out of her little moment of appreciation.

"Come in." Nayeon said before returning the photo frame at the table.

The door swung open and Jeongyeon peaked inside while holding a tray of food.

"Good morning." Jeongyeon smiled widely as she approach Nayeon on the bed. "Are you woken up by us?"

Nayeon pouted at her before spreading her arms wide, asking for a hug.

"Yep and you owe me a hug for it." Nayeon said with a frown.

Jeongyeon giggled at her before lowering down the food on the table momentarily as she satisfy Nayeon's needs by planting a kiss on her forehead and hugging her tight.

"This is more than just a breakfast." Nayeon said enthusiastically while kissing Jeongyeon's cheeks, her hands gently stroking on Jeongyeon's hair.

"Ahhh-you're just making me stay in the bed as long as you do." Jeongyeon said before pulling away.

Nayeon still feeling so fuzzy, covered her face with some pillows once again thinking it's way too early for breakfast and besides, she's just lazy to sit and eat.

"Lazy bug, eat up now. You have your meeting early today. Am I right?" Jeongyeon managed and arranged the food tray on the bed and slowly pulling the pillow away from Nayeon's face.

"It's way too early, hun." Nayeon groaned and pulled the pillow away from Jeongyeon's grasps but her strength is way too weak and ended up being pulled and sits up straight.

"Let's eat?" Jeongyeon smiled while holding Nayeon's hands, stopping her from laying back down again.

With a sign of defeat, Nayeon smiled and nodded before pulling Jeongyeon for a quick kiss and began to eat their delicious meal.

Jeongyeon and Nayeon has been together since college days, and were staying in the same house for almost 3 years. In the range of their 7 years of relationship, they both achieved their goals and managed to reach their dreams in life.

Jeongyeon, after graduating as a Civil Engineer, was able to open a small business and a Café that was managed by her cousin Son Chaeyoung.

However for Im Nayeon, who was the heiress of IM Industry was an only child. She graduated Business Management as her Father wanted her to take.
