"I CAN'T believe you didn't talk me out of this," Sienna sighed into her phone as she made her way down the long hallway to Joey's apartment.

"Why would I do that? You know I wouldn't do that."

"Phoebe," Sienna hissed. "God. I'm literally outside her door, I should've just called her, or texted her- can you please tell me to leave?"

"Sienna, I'm not doing that. Just go! She probably feels so alone right now. It'll help knowing that at least someone believes her. Hell, if it helps, let her know that me and the boys believe her, too! Everyone at our school's an asshole. Have you seen what they've been posting about her online?"

"Yeah," Sienna muttered, biting her nails as she felt her anxiety worsen.

The students at Grand Army had definitely shown their true colors upon this entire situation. Sienna had been absolutely in shock to find out it wasn't just Grace that was calling Joey a liar, but more like half of the school. It made her blood boil in a way she didn't understand.

"I just feel weird- it's not like her and I are friends or anything."

"You don't need to be friends with someone to let them know you believe them, Sienna."

Sienna knew Phoebe was right- everything she was saying was right. But she was nervous. Who was she to come check on Joey? She doubted the girl wanted to see anyone right now, let alone Sienna.

Regardless, she found herself nodding. "Okay."

"Yeah?" Phoebe sounded relieved over the phone.

"Yeah," Sienna sighed, hanging up. She shoved her phone in her pocket and starred at the front door before her.

She'd been to Joey's house before. For parties and sometimes when she'd hold dance meets there, but she now can't really seem to remember anything about what it looked like.

Hesitantly, she brought her hand up and gave the door a gentle knock.

It's then that the second thoughts began to swarm at her, making her anxiously look around. Maybe this was a bad idea.

The door opened before she could even consider leaving.

Sienna's heart felt like it could beat right out of her chest- nerves like she'd never felt before inhabiting her as her eyes met Joey's.
