Powers?: Shadow manipulation. Rei can control shadows and use them to do things like shield people, hide herself in the shadows and fight but if she does this for too long or too much at once, she will pass out
Appearance: Mid back length, light brown hair usually tied up in a low ponytail, hazel eyes, freckles on her face mainly across her nose. She doesn't really smile that often. Rei has a few burn scars on her hands and arms since she likes to play around with fire. Rei usually wears black hoodies and grey pants. She also always wears gloves to cover her burn scars
Personality: Rei is a kind, caring and loyal friend to those she trusts, but basically ignores those she doesn't. She has trust issues because of her family. She is stubborn very and impulsive and, because of this, she can get, and has gotten, herself into a lot of trouble, whether she was going somewhere she shouldn't have been or helping someone she shouldn't have been. She also has autophobia, the fear of being alone, but will try not to show it. She doesn't want to seem weak, especially in front of people outside her family
Likes: Reading, climbing trees, exploring, creating a little bit of chaos, her very few friends, fire, her sister
Dislikes: Being called anything other than Rei, people who insult her friends, anyone she doesn't trust, wearing dresses
Fears: Autophobia, the fear of being alone/abandoned
Backstory: Rei didn't have the best childhood growing up. Her parents hated her and her sister, thinking that their older brother was an angel and could do no wrong, when really he was full on bullying and hurting Rei. Their parents thought the girls were lying, so they punished them rather than their brother. When Rei turned 8, their parents abandoned Rei and her sister, Tara, taking their brother with them. Since they didn't want to be separated, the girls just tried to live by themselves, since Tara was only 10 and not old enough to start working yet. They managed to survive and as soon as they were old enough, they each got a job
