Error was already backed up against the rock, however, this hadn't been the first time he had been cornered or confronted when he was weakened. The key was to show no weakness, to not appear affected by their presence, normally people would back up- flinch away in fear or out of instinct. But Error had no such fear or instinct, He had mentally built up tolerance, and had thrown away these instincts. Error would never give the other the satisfaction of seeing him cower away like a beaten dog. Error remained resting against the rock, not moving an inch, but not tensed up either.

"That was a very interesting fight you put up, it looked like you really gave Ink a run for his money" The goopy skeleton sneered a bit, appearing to recall the events. The skeleton's tendrils swayed behind him at random- it reminded Error of an octopus. Error had seen one once before in OceanTale, He had tried to grab it- but it had escaped him with ease. He had gotten so mad at the thing he tried to grab it with it's strings- Needless to say he had been unaware how much the creature could do and how much of a grudge they could hold. Later, while fighting ink- he had been tossed into the water, the thing had come out of nowhere and tried to suffocate him. He had a new respect for the creatures after that.

"Is that so." Error answered sharply. The skeleton looked down at Error, "You're new. I haven't seen you around before." Error looked at the skeleton with a load of confusion. 'Not know me?' 'I thought everyone knew me?' 'Who says that?' Error scoffed a bit of blood trailed down the corner of his mouth-. "You really don't know me- Error. The destructor of the aus- arch enemy of Ink? Number one on everybody's hit list at the moment? Not ringing bells to you?" Error couldn't fucking believe it, had he actually found someone who didn't know who he was? It was a sense of relief- but it was short lived.

"An enemy of my enemy, is a friend of mine." The skeleton held out his hand to Error. " My name's nightmare, and having someone like you on my team would be a great opportunity for the both of us." Error studied 'Nightmare', he couldn't tell if he was telling some truth, or if he was just an incredibly convincing liar, he seemed to be the type to do both. "Your team?" Error still did not take the offered hand, for all he knew this was an elaborate trap set by Ink. Although he felt he was giving the artist too much credit thinking that dodo brain could come up with something as complex as this was turning out to be.

"Yes, My team." Nightmare gestured towards the tree line he himself had appeared from. Four other monsters, also appearing to be skeletons, made themselves known. Error recognised three of them, Killer, Horror, and Dust. They were bad ending characters, some argued all from the og universe just different endings, but Error never supported the theory because they all had their own separate au's and own timelines. At one point they were all of timelines but they had developed into their own stories, though he wasn't surprised that they all had banded together. The three had a lot of similarities, yet he didn't recognise the fourth one. But Error still hated being outnumbered. 'Fucking hell.' he mentally cursed himself for putting himself in that situation. He didn't want to join them persay, he always had worked better alone, besides it was easier to remain in his antivoid then to hang around with a bunch of anomalies.

"Join us, and we can give you salvation from those who belittle and hunt you."

Error stopped- knew exactly what Nightmare was now. He was a sweet talker. A lying, conniving, no good user. This guy was someone who took people at their weakest point and flattered them with lies and used their fears and troubles against them in an all too good persuasion. Error didn't need protection, and everyone else would think so too, to the multiverse, it was them who needed protection from Error. 'He didn't just fucking say that.' Error, got a new sense of strength, and power. He stood up, using the rock as his guide. " I don't need your fucking protection, That insults me that you think i'm like any of your teammates. I've turned monsters like you to dust with a single fucking hand swipe." Error put his hand to his face and brought it down, blue strings wrapped around his fingers.

Nightmare chuckled. "Of course not, how silly of me. I've never met someone so alike. So you'll have to excuse my belittling, it's a force of habit." "Alike? Fuck that. Nobody's alike to me." Error growled at the thought of being compared to such an anomaly. The blue strings reached out and grabbed his dusting arm, pulling it back and tying it into place and securing it by wrapping the string around his scapula and clavicle to keep it there. Error didn't know where he had gotten this sudden strength from, he had been completely drained earlier, but now he was able to use it just fine. Maybe things were looking up for him in some messed up way.

"At the very least, let us assist you, rather than you help us, let us help you, we can start by properly fixing that arm of yours" Nightmare smiled a not so nice smile, his tentacles remained still behind him in anticipation. He knew who Error was, who didn't? He knew how powerful he was, and arguably one of the very few people who were stronger then himself, He liked that. If he could get Error or someone like Error on his team, he'd be unstoppable, and he liked that too. The only thing he had to secure was the fact the Error was a wild card, he could say yes one moment, and they'd be dust by the next. He had attempted to use manipulation but error had stopped that very quickly. He had even used flattery to no effect. That had surprised Nightmare, powerful people tended to be more arrogant, and easily caught off guard by any remarks of their superiority and easy compliments. Yet that hadn't worked either.

"Sure. Why not." Error retracted the strings from his fingers "Try anything- and you'll regret it."
