My mind was in a constant loop. That loop you may ask. It was Bill. I've never felt so confused in my life. I mean I had my fair share of crushes. Like in Year 5 I had a crush on Matt Davis in Hufflepuff. Captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team it was nothing but a schoolgirl crush I got over it. In this circumstance not really. My heart was aching. The need of me just to be in Bill's presence was aching me. I am just a mess this morning. Who would have thought Lynx Ives is suffering through a crush of a friend that she spent her whole life caring about. I really just to bang my head against a wall right now.

My thoughts were interrupted when someone was knocking on the door. I stood up from my bed and went to open the door. Hearing the slight creak of the door consumed all the silence. I was greeted by the sight of a tired looking Bill. His hair all over the place and his baggy eyes. My eyes focus down to his attire. Which I will not comment because the last thing I need to say is how confused and obsessed I am with this man.

He took his hand to his neck awkwardly, "Sorry, I just wanted to make tea and thought you would like some."

"Sure why not. I would like some." I agreed to Bill's proposal. We headed down the stairs quietly not trying to wake up everyone else. Anytime Bill was in my home he would always make this certain tea. It had a smell of mint and other sorts. I would always ask him what it was made of but he always say "It's a secret, love. Don't want you rambling it out to everyone now."  He handed me a cup and we sat and drank in silence. The silence was all I needed right now. Rain started to pour.

"The stars last night we're beautiful weren't they?" Bill asked me. I turned my head from the cup I held. I nodded and smiled at him. He smiled back.

"Yeah, they were." I replied. He noticed my cup was empty so he took charge to refill it. His hand softly touched mine. You know that feeling I talked about before when he touched my hand. Now I understood what that meant.

I sat on my bed with Nixie next to me meowing and sleeping peacefully. I was reading in silence. I was reading this muggle book "The Great Gatsby"  I decided to really spend time for myself. The summer in The Burrow was very eventful. The Weasley's treated me like family. I closed my book and walked to the bookshelf putting it back. I drag myself out of the room heading downstairs to the living room. The last person I would have thought to see this early in the morning was Ginny Weasley. She looked frustrated at what she was doing. I came around the corner. She jumped in surprise from my presence.

"Merlin! Lynx don't scare me like that! What are you doing down here so early?" Ginny asked me. Her harsh breathing calmed down after awhile.

"Oh I just wanted to get something to eat. What are you doing?" I respond to Ginny's question.

She looked down and back up to my face. Her face started to turn bright red.

"Well you remember the favor I asked you before." she claimed. I nodded. "Well remarkably he sent me a letter out of the blue asking if I'm able to go to Diagon Alley this week with him."

I continued to listen to her talk about the letter. She was frustrated on what to send him back. Or even if she was going to go.

"Wait, before we continue. Who is this anonymous boy?"

"Dean Thomas. He's a year ahead of me but I really want to get to know him better so I can ask him out."

I smiled, "Oh well that's wonderful! I mean in school I tried to do a whole love letter charade to the boy I liked. Didn't work out so well."

"You? Lynx Ives gave a love letter to a boy?" Ginny was shocked by what I did when I was in school.

I roll my eyes playfully, "Yeah I know it was cliché. He regretted me of course. He said that he wasn't into Ravenclaws."

"Well that's his loss. I think you could do ten times better than that toe rag."

I laughed. I nodded at her from her statement. She cracked a grin as well and laughed with me. It was nice to have a good laugh with someone else that wasn't Bill. It took all my lovesick puppyness about him away, to a new matter into helping Ginny decide on what to send Dean Thomas.

We ended up deciding for her to say yes. She declared that we should take a trip to Diagon Alley. In reality all she wanted to do was to go to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor.

Ginny was scoping all the ice cream she could choose. Luckily I still had some Galleons left to spare for us to have some ice cream. I decided for Vanilla. She decided for Strawberry and Peanut Butter. Our day out to Diagon Alley was all I needed to take my mind off of reckless issues.

All I need to have some peace.
