Luke imagine:
Your eyes flutter open as you take in your surroundings. When you roll over you come to find Luke missing from your bed.
"Really," you say letting out a sigh.
Today was your birthday and all you wanted to do was spend the whole day with your boyfriend Luke.
You get up still wearing one of his oversized shirts and head to the kitchen. You see a small piece of paper spread in the counter. You pick it up between your fingers reading it aloud.
"Just went out with the boys for a bit. Be back soon babe,"
You exhale as you being to make some food for yourself. As you finish stirring you eggs you hear the front door open. You hear Luke faintly singing a green day song off in the distance. Knowing it's Luke you don't both to turn around.
"Hey Maddie," he says throwing his keys on the counter.
You don't say anything as you are too mad to speak. You hear Luke leave the room before returning to the kitchen
After a few moments of silence, you feel two warm hands rap around your waist.
"Babe," he says hugging you from behind, "let me help you,"he continues placing a kiss on you temple.
Even though he was being cute you were still mad.
After you finish cooking your egg and put it on the plate you had ready for it, you move the pan off the heater and you look up at Luke.
"Go get dressed and I'll clean up here," he says with a towel over his shoulder as he does the dishes.
You head up the stairs to you room seeing a large paper bag on your bed with yet another note taped to the side. What is with this boy and notes. You pick up the bag before reading the note aloud.
"Put this on babe," it read.
You open the bag you find a knee lengthened black dress that looks like it would fit your body perfectly. All you could do was mouth the words 'wow' and 'oh my god'.
You go back to it and find a little gold arrow necklace and a pair of tall red heels.
Reluctantly I follow the note and put on that outfit.
When I'm changed I slowly make my way down the hallway only to run into Luke who suddenly turned the corner.
He stepped back admiring your outfit, "wow am I a good boyfriend or what?"
"Ya... Great," you say under your breath.
"We are gonna go out but I'm gonna go get changed and I'll be right back," he says before jogging up stairs.
Within a few minutes Luke entered the room dressed in his famous black skinny jeans and red flannel.
"Ready to go?" He asked before grabbing the keys of the counter and heading for the door.
"I guess?" I say following behind him.
Luke walked out to the car opening the car door gesturing for me to get in as he spoke, "my lady."
I let out a small thanks before hopping in and waiting for him to jog around the front and get in.
"Are you forgetting anything?" I ask curiously trying to give him another chance.
"No, I don't think so. I have my phone, keys, wallet. I think I'm alright actually," he says awkwardly obviously not getting what you were asking.
"Oh.." You say while trying to think of another way to ask him about your birthday, "do you know what day it is today by any chance?"
"Umm.. The 23rd ... Wait no the 22nd I think, ya the 22nd" he said doubting himself.
You nod, "ya the 22nd, my birthday," you say under your breath.
The car ride was quiet aside from the faint bands on the radio.
I was confused as Luke made a right hand turn down a familiar street.
The silence was broke by the sound of Luke " I have to pick up something from Michael's, I think he wanted to tell you something, you should come in." He says before getting out of the car.
When you open the door Luke had already made his way into Michael's house.
I let out a sigh before opening the car and walking up to the door. I grabbed the door nob turning it slowly. I see a bunch of my friends including the boys jump out.
"Surprise!" They all yell.
Luke walked out from behind the group holding a bouquet of pink roses and a large stuffed penguin.
You run up and give him a hug whispering thanks into him.
"See Maddie, told you I was a good boyfriend," he said before kissing you passionately.
