"H-he k-killed. . . His own s-sister?" Tears spilled from my eyes. This man was a

Monster.

Murderer.

Killer.

Something inside me just turned. My mouth was dry and unable to find words, my heart beating like a stallion in a race for its life, and my hands shaking with not only rage, but utter fear.

Fear.

Something that gave the bottom of my stomach this ache. Something that made my heart beat faster then a rabbit running from a wolf. Something everyone didn't want to have. Fear was worse then death, worse then pain, worse then. . . Anything and everything.

Because fear was anything and everything.

"Yes." I could tell that it pained her to say it. It would pain any mother to retell the story of how one of their children died being killed by another one of their children. When you tell a story filled with so much sadness, it feels like your reliving it and it pains you. It drives you to your breaking point causing you to break down in tears.

Rage.

Fear.

Sadness.

Pain.

Remorse.

Sympathy.

Empathy.

Are the emotions I was feeling. They were all bundled up inside me, that I had to get rid of them.

Answers.

I wanted answers.

I slammed my hands on the table and stood up. My tear filled eyes looked at the side of her face.

"How can you still love him? Why isn't he locked away? Why? Did he hate her? Was he jealous? How can he love with himself? How can a mother live with herself knowing th-" A howl rippled through the forest.

"You need to go." She frowned sitting up.

"But I-"

"No buts. You'll get answers, just not from me. If you want them that badly. . Ask him yourself." With that, she started to walk off in the opposite direction from the pack house until her body was no longer to be seen.

"Luna. You must return to get ready for your date with the alpha." Jonah jogged to my side. I nodded in response paying no attention to him.

"If you want answers. Ask him yourself."

Her words lingered in my mind. I wanted answers. Badly. If I had to face satan himself. . . I would.

As Jonah began to walk away, I slowly turned around and decided to follow him until we finally made it to the pack house in one silent walk.

"We have a wardrobe set up for you inside the alphas and your room." He bowed once before running off into a different direction.

I walked into Hercules room and breathed in his amazing scent. Falling onto the bed, I dug my face into his pillow.

He has so many secrets. . I need to know. If I want to get close to Hercules. . I need to know more about him and his deadly past. More about his family. . But I need to know without getting myself into danger.

Shaking away my thoughts I stood up.

"Let's go have fun on this date tonight, Poppy." I say to myself before walking into the closet. I snoop around before I find a beautiful, dinner party, type dress. It was navy blue and had one long sleeve on the right side of the dress whilst the left was strapless. It was also mid thigh.

Going into the bathroom, I turn on the shower and let the warm water wash away the scary thoughts and questions from my head, for now. When I finally got finished washing and shaving, I dry myself off, apply lotion to my arms and legs, deodorant, and then slid on my black laced panties.(No bra because the dress was padded.) I straighten my blonde hair then curl the tips slightly. To finish off my outfit I apply eyeliner to make my blue eyes pop, shady black eyeshadow, lip gloss, and black heels.

When I walked out, there stood a tall, sexy, dressed up man of mate before me.

"Why hello there." Hercules smiled walking up to me. He stopped then let his eyes travel along my body."Damn why do I have such a sexy mate." He says biting his lip making me smirk.

"Well. . . This "sexy mate" is not yours." I place my hands on my hip.

"Really? Then why is my "sexy mate" going on a date with me, willingly." He retorts back proudly.

"Because. . ." I walk over and wrap my arms around his neck."This "sexy mate" felt bad for the big bad alpha because he's spoiled and thinks he can get what he wants." I poke his chest with a glare before walking out of the room.

Not before adding a hip sway of course.
