"God, you're infuriating!" Masky yelled, glaring at Toby.

"Me?! You're so annoying!" Toby yelled back, and he glared also. EJ, Clockwork and Hobo were staring at the small argument. Toby swung a punch at Masky, but he caught it and pressed a foot to his chest, pushing him back and making him let out a small 'omph'.

Toby! Masky! What the hell are you two doing?!

"Uh oh..." Toby muttered and stood up, putting his hand in his pockets nervously. "Uh hey, Slendy!" He said more loudly.

You two need to get along! You two are going on a mission together.

"What?! No!" Toby frowned, but you couldn't tell from the mouth guard. "With him?!"  His arms twitched wildly in anger.

Yes, Toby! Now move, I'll give you the file.

"Fine!" Masky sighed and rolled his eyes. Luckily, his face was in the shadows so his eyes were unable to be seen. They both headed to the basement, where the file room was, along with the medical bay and the punishment rooms. Slenderman handed Masky a file and he opened it.

"Jemma Kraig, 25. Fake blonde, blue eyes, tan, 5"7. Lives in...California?! We're in Wisconsin, that's 31 hours to there, never mind back and finding her house!" Masky read aloud, annoyed at the last bit.

"Thirty one hours?! God. That's a lot of driving for you." Toby groaned, rolling his eyes,

"How come I need to drive?" Masky asked.

"Uh, well, have you noticed? A bit twitchy, have you noticed? I'd crash!" Toby hit his head intentionally, showing that Masky was dumb. "Duh!"

That's enough! You're both going! You're taking Masky's car.

"That old thing? Really?" Toby asked and Masky glared.

Now! Get moving, both of you, now!

They both ran out the room. Masky put the files on a counter before heading upstairs. "I'll be a second, hold up." He grabbed his pipe and shoved extra pills in his pocket, hearing the rattle. He headed back down and saw that Toby was flicking through the file.

"Hm. They seem..." He trailed off, looking up at Masky through his goggles.

"Basic California?" Masky finished for him and he nodded. "C'mon." Toby nodded again and Masky grabbed the car keys, walking out of the forest and unlocking the door and climbing in, Toby next to him.

"Hey, what's this?" Toby asked as he reached in the back and pulled out two cameras, a handheld camcorder and a chest mounted one.

"Cameras. Me and Jay used them when we were looking for that. You take the handheld." Masky put on the camera, pulling off his jacket only to put it on on top, just unzipped. Toby fiddled with the camera, flipping open the side and turning it on. "Put it on the dashboard."

"Why did you use these?" Toby did as he said, making sure it was steady.

"Well," Masky said, entering the address into his Sat Nav and beginning to drive. "We needed to know what happened, as we lost our memory quite a bit. Plus, then it was easier to find each other, if we got split up. That was the only way I'd have know he was dead, and it just wasn't Alex and his freaky little pets mindgames." He spat out the last bit.

"He's dead?! You told me he moved state! Why?!" Toby yelled, horrified that Masky had told him that.

"Play on your phone or something, Toby. I'll find a motel in a few hours." Masky dodged, so he didn't pry. So he pulled out his phone and started to watch an anime he found, something like Dorohedoro.

After a while, Toby had fallen asleep. He was snoring slightly, but his legs kicked the car every few minutes, making a loud thumping noise. But Masky couldn't care less. The radio was playing softly, some shitty pop song. He flipped through the channels until it landed on a rock station, playing an AC/DC song, something like Highway To Hell. He smiled. That fitted the situation. He turned up the volume, and focused on the streets.

"Mm." Toby groaned, and sat up, stretching. "Where are we?"

"'Bout...three hours along the way." Masky side-glanced at him. "I'll find a motel." They pulled off after a bit, and  Masky stopped in front of one. "Take your mask off." He pulled his own off, and Toby done the same. Toby picked up the camera, pointing it to the floor slightly, but still holding it up.

"Hey, Ma-" Toby was interrupted by Masky.

"It's Tim, we're in public." Tim shot a glare at him. "Anywhere we're not in the mansion, it's Tim."

"Okay..." Toby fiddled with his hands, pulling at the bandages. He was happy his hoodie was long enough to hide his hatchets, where as Tim had to leave his pipe in the car. Tim bought a room with his ID and parked the car in font of the room and nodded his head towards the door.

"In." He said bluntly. They headed inside, Tim sighing. "One bed. Doesn't matter, I don't sleep much anyway." He muttered the last sentence.

"D-Did I ever tell you how I became a proxy..?" Toby nervously looked at him.
