I go to see Cullen. I knew he would be in his office. So I head there. I walk across the catwalk and go in the open door. I go and slink up against the wall, happy to watch him work his magic. There are at least twenty knights and officers around his desk in a semi-circle. He sees me and smiles, "Alright, I have some business to attend to. Dismissed." He gets a round of 'Sirs' and all the men walk out. Cullen comes out from behind his desk and practically slams the door.

"There's always something else," he mutters. I laugh and hesitantly say, "wish we were somewhere else?" I bite my lip and he responds, "if you're not sure ... or ... I mean if ...I don't want to walk away from you, when this is all over." His hand caresses my cheek and he smiles. But suddenly he turns serious and nervous and turns away, "That is if... you... want..." He is now facing his desk, his hands on the edge of it. I walk in front of him. His hand I had to move goes to my hip and I smile. I look into his eyes, "Cullen do you have to ask?" its not really a question. He smiles back. "I guess not." I perch myself on the desk. Sitting. He comes closer and I move my hands back to lay down.

I knock over a bottle of lyrium. I gasped and and turned to him to say something. Then he smiled again and knocked over everything on the desk. And the rest of the night shall remain a secret.

I wake up in what I think is Cullen's room. It's a little smaller than mine. But only by a little, with similar furnishings and overall neatness. And there is a large hole in the roof. I laid there for a while, smiling, remembering the night before. His hands, soft yet intense and yearning. His hair, soft as I ran my hands through it. I smile. I turn over to see Cullen. He's asleep. I listen to his breathing for a while, evenly. He looks years younger, though I suppose everyone does sleeping. His mouth is slightly open. I lean in to him, kiss his forehead, and get up, wrapping a blanket around me. I collect my clothes and get dressed.

I sit on the bed lacing my shoes up. When I hear Cullen, murmuring, his face suddenly contorted. "Leave me, leave me. No." I go to put a hand on his bare chest, to try to wake him up. He halfway sits up, jerkily. I lift my hand in surprise. He gasps, then sighs and lays back down. The sheets cover most of him. "Bad dream?" I ask. "They all are." He smiles at me, "I'm fine, I didn't mean to worry you." I smile back. "besides the dreams, is it still a good morning?" I ask wryly. "Perfect," he whispers. We lean together, our foreheads touching. His lips inches from mine. His eyes closed.

"You are perfect. I have never felt this way about anyone before," he states. I blush and back away, "Cullen, you know I love you. Right?" He nods, "as I do you, my love." We kiss for a few seconds, and I get up smiling to myself, and look back to see him smiling at me as well. His smile suddenly turns devilish, "We'll continue this later." I just laugh, walking out the door. "I hope so."
