“Stop it, Rem! Our son might see us!”
“Why should I care? I’m not even sure if he really is my son!”
“What are you trying to say, Rem? That I have another man in my life besides you? You really are damn stupid!”
“I saw it with my own eyes, Hevn! You cannot fool me! What have I done to you for you to do this to me? I don’t fucking deserve this!”
“Rem, I really don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Bullshit, Hevn! Stop denying things! I already saw it, you whore!”
“Watch your words, Rem!”
“Why? What are you going to do? Leave me and come with your beloved asshole bastard boyfriend of yours?”
“Yes! Yes, I will! I’m already tired and bored of you!”
“There you go, Hevn! You admit it already with your own filthy mouth, you bitch whore!” He started slapping her face, punching her, and kicking her. He is crying, and so is she, me too. I’m crying. I don’t know why. My chest feels like tightening. It’s hard to breath. I started sobbing.
“Juubei?” He said, noticing me.
“Mom? Dad? What’s going on? Are you trying to kill each other? What’s happening? Why are you fighting and hurting each other?” I said as I keep on crying hardly. My father came near me.
“Juubei, son, you’ll come with daddy, okay?”
“Fuck! Rem! What are you trying to do? He’s my son!” My mom said. She’s trying to stand up but she failed.
“He’s my son too! And I don’t want him to grow old with someone as filthy and dirty as you! He deserve better! He might end up like your beloved asshole bastard boyfriend of yours if he stayed with the both of you!” My dad said. My father started packing our things.
We are supposed to ride on a taxi when a body fall on the ground.
“Daddy!” He’s bleeding. I turned around to see who did it. She was there, my mother. She was holding a knife and breathing heavily, after that her body falls on the ground too.
Polices started coming.
“Juubei! Juubei! Juubei!” Someone said while shaking me. I lifted my head and see the face of one of my classmate.
“Mr. Ong is calling you.” She whispered to me. I stared at my fuming mad teacher.
“What is it?” I said.
“You are sleeping in my class, Mr. Kakei!”
“So?”
“SO?! Get your bag and get out! You are not going to attend my class until your parents show up.”
“Oh no. You wouldn’t want them to show up.”
“Of course, I do!”
“You’ll regret that.”
“And why is that, Mr. Kakei.”
“Coz they’re dead.”
The whole room fell silent.
“Are you new here, Mr. Ong?” I ask him, raising my right eyebrow. He just stayed silent, he’s playing safe. “You should know who I am. Our family own this school. I do what I want, so you’ll do as I say.” I continued. “Understand?”
“Yes, Mr. Kakei.”
“It’s SIR Kakei.”
“Sir Kakei?” He said unsurely.
“Whatever! Continue your class, don’t mind me. After all, I’m smarter than you.” I said.
He continued his class so I bow my head and continue my sleep.
