AS MUCH AS VINCENT TRIED TO convince himself that he wasn't in love with Nova and that he was in love with heather he knew it wasn't true. nova was the only girl who was able to make this boy smile every time she entered the room.
He missed her smile , her eyes, her voice , he missed the way how whenever she would see him she would have to look at up to talk to him because of their height difference. The boy was pulled out of his thoughts when his girlfriend tapped his shoulder
"hey babe" heather said turning to him . The pair were going on a walk together. "yeah" he asked. "i uhm i just wanted to say i'm so sorry if this too soon but uh i love you" she said. vinnie looked at her with a surprised face not knowing what to say.
"oh uhm never mind i have to go vinnie bye" the girl said. of course he wouldn't leave the girl alone but they were right next to her house anyways. he left and walked to his house that was a few blocks down. He walked into his room slamming the door plopping himself onto his bed.
See here's the thing with vincent. He could have said it back to her but he would never want to lie to someone about that. Especially if it was someone like that. He knew he only loved one person and that person was not heather.
Heather got into her room and thought about the embarrassing moment that just happened to her. She knew why he didn't say it back but she didn't want to believe it.
Vinnie on the other hand walked to his house feeling very bad about what happened just a few minutes ago . He sat in his room on his phone with his finger hovering over the contact name of the girl he loves .
Before he clicked on her contact he shut his phone not wanting to ruin the girls day , he knew exactly what he wanted and alright one of those things was her he wanted her to be happy , even if it wasn't with him.
