AFTER SCHOOL NOVA was waiting at the gate for Vinnie since she had cheer practice and he had baseball practice they always rode home together. She sat on the cold bench outside in her skirt tapping her foot up and down eagerly waiting for him to get there.
She sat waiting for him for another 5 minutes until she finally decided to call him. She waiting hearing the other line ring until he finally answered. "hello?" he said from the other line. "vin where are you i've been waiting here for 15 minutes" she said softly with a slight shake in her voice.
" oh my god i'm so sorry Nova i uh i got stuck talking to someone i didn't realize how much time passed i'm s- " he said replying . " no Vinnie i was waiting here for 15 minutes in the cold and i'm in a skirt . who were you even talking to that you just happened to forget to take your girlfriend home" she said waiting for a response.
" i uhm this girl named heather i just uh we were talking an- " he said before he got cut off by the girl. " oh ok you know what Vinnie i'll find a way home just leave me alone " she replied softly. " no Nova i'm sorry i'll go get you rig-" he said before she got cut off by the sound of her hanging up.
She called Ariya telling her that she needs to get picked up with a shaky voice . Ariya told Troy and they left their date to come pick her up. She was sitting there when she saw their car pulling up.
She got up and grabbed her book bag walking over to them when she heard vinnie voice calling for her. She turned and saw him running up to her. She ignored him and got into the car and told them to start driving away. He sighed seeing his girlfriend leave.
