After I finally started breathing again I told him what happpened an how I was stuck on the bside of the road .

'I'm on my way don't move don't say anything to anybody"  he rushed out between mumles. Before I colud get a word out all I heard was the dial tone I closed my phone an sat on the railing waiting for Derek to show up. Silently praying that those guys don't come back to look for me even though I know they will I couldn't go back to my house or even to school I knew I would have to a hotel or Dereks but I didn''t want to drag him into this. He would just get  hurt an kI couldn't let that happen I still couldn't believe that my mom would do this to me I mean I gave here a place to stay an food to eat I just don't understand how she could do this to here own daughter but I guess she could because she gave up my sister with no problem or regret the only thing I regret right now is having her as my mother. I get other people deal with death differently but did she get that I missed him to or was all the drugs an alcohol she  consumed  made her blind to that fact. As I sat there I heard tires hit the gravel when I looked up I saw Derek geting out of his car. I got up an started walking to him  when I stopped in ffront of him all I colud do was cry I don't know why but he just wrapped his arms around me an pulled me to his car. I just sat there staring at the window I started to see the familiar streets that led to my house.

" What are you doing Derek I can't go back in there what are you doing" I said glaring out the window.

" I'm going to get your things duh" He said as if there was no problem.

" Are you crazy they could be there an plus they took all my things when they though I was going with them you really think they would leave anything if I decided to go" I rambled.

"Really tay how about I just go over their and act like I was coming to see you and get homework or something I don't I could get you something if there's something there" He said in a matter of fact tone. The idea was crazy but I had to know if they were there waiting to see if I actually would go back to that hell hole.

" okay you can go but at the first sight of danger you leave" I said in a stern voice. \

As we got closer to my house I thought of a disgused nothing good but it hide my hair and my eyes all I needed was sunglasses an a gold chain an people would think I was a guy. I laughed at the thought when Derek looked at me up and down sizing me up.

" you pulled that off I barely knew it was you until you laughed I'm surprised you can fit my clothes let alone cover up the fact that your a girl with huge boobs you look flat as a board how did yoiu do that" He said looking really confused. I roll my eyes at him an adjust my clothes well Dereks clothes  " Well you had ace bandages in the back seat why I don't know and I don't want to just run in there an ask her  can you get your assignment out of my room then you then assignment and the mental container under my  floor board got it"

" got  itbut why do you have a metal container under your floor board do you have a stash of pornos in there because if you do its okay every guy does" he said with a stupid smirk on his face.

" Dude could youn just go do it and don't worry about whats in my box just do it we are runing out of time I want to be out of here before they show here is the key to my door" .I said handing him the key. He parked in front of my house and got out. I saw the door open an there stood my so called mother she stared at Derek wide eyed  and then stutter a few words that I couldn't make out he asked her and then walked passed her an closed the door not before she looked both ways and then she spotted me in the car she couldn't tell who it was but she gave a shakey wave an closed the door . Three minutes passed an he still didn't come out I didn't like that at all I was debating with my self wondering if I should go in. when the door opened ...........
