First kiss

i'm sorry, this is really short, but i had my first kiss with Monika in the mod and i wanted to write about it!

      Soft piano music fills the room, soothing your ears.

      Monika's  fingers stroked through your hair, your head in her lap and her gentle humming causing your eyes to flutter sleepily.
"Sunshine?" Monika said, a smile apparent in her voice.

"Hm?" you hum, looking up at her.
Her face is lovely, as always. You smile at her affectionate expression, sitting up to see her better. Looking at Monika closer, you can see her lost in your eyes. You wrap your arms around Monika's waist, making yourself comfortable in her lap.

As you gaze into her eyes, she raises her hand and cups your face.
"I love you, y/n" She says in the sweetest, most earnest voice.

       Your brain short-circuits
       Your face grows hot, it's definitely not the first time she's said 'I love you', in fact, not a day went by without one. But, this one was the most sincere, the most emotional.
"I-I love you too, Monika, more than anything in this world"

    She rubs her thumb against your cheek, moving her other hand to the back of your neck.

Your blush deepens as you stare into her eyes.

She pulls you closer.
"May I kiss you, y/n?" She asks.

    Your mind races. Are you about to have your first kiss? With the most amazing, most intelligent, most beautiful girl in the whole world? Are you ready?? How do you prepare to kiss the girl of your dreams???

"Yes" you finally answer.

Monika leans in close. Your heart races faster. She closes her eyes. You follow her lead.

    Her warm lips press against yours. She smells like coffee, her lips are so soft, her hands steady you.

  She breaks the kiss looking into your eyes before tucking your head underneath her chin. You blush and smile into her shoulder, your mind still racing and your lips still warm.

   Monika holds you closer and giggles.

"I love you, so very much, I love you more than I could ever express, y/n"
