Epilogue

A/N: So this is it for now or for ever not sure. I had fun writing my first story. I hope that I can come up with something else something better next time.  To all who have read and enjoyed Thank you for reading. If you read it and didn't care for it at least you finished it "Go You".

(Sky's POV seven years later Zander's graduation.)

"Hurry up, we are going to be late." I yelled at Max and Xavier.

"We are coming hold your horses, babe." Xavier said as he came down the stairs.

"Well it is not every day your brother is going to become a doctor." I said before turning to Cathy and Ethan. "I am so sorry, I have tried to train him to do things faster but I think this place has poured molasses in his veins." I said.

"He is a woking man so he has learned to slow down is all." Ethan said.

"Yeah what dad said." Xavier said pouting.

"Are we ready or are we going to stand around here?" Max said coming down the stairs. He is not my shy best friend I grew up with any more college changed that. He is now a really cute man who loves teaching and is loving the dating world.

"Let's go" I said grabbing my phone, camera and my jacket.

"I'm driving." Xavier said.

"I am not riding in a tin can so if you are driving you can drive my truck." i said referring to his new sports car. He has started his own business and it took off right away. He is a contractor who is called in to design and watch over new construction in the surrounding areas. He loves it.

"Fine" he said pouting.

"We will follow you guys." Ethan said.

I was a ball of nervous the whole drive there. Zander had worked hard for this and now it was happening. I have only been out of school a year myself and I am slowly working up the ladder at a firm in town. I like my job. I chose to be a general lawyer. I handle just about anything they throw at me. My goal is to open my own firm some where soon. We haven't decided if we are staying here or moving but I would like to stay. We had a private commitment ceremony a few years ago and are planning to look into adoption soon. We bought a summer home in California where we plan to go for awhile so we can start the process. Xavier already has connections there for work and Zander is going to do a six month trauma stint and my firm has a small office I can work out of while we are there.

"Hey space cadet were here." Xavier said before kissing me.

"Good let's go." i said jumping out of the truck.

"Slow down we have like an hour before it even starts. Zander is still at the hospital." Xavier said grabbing my shoulder slowing me down. He was right but I have been counting the hours, days and minutes for ever.

"54 minutes and 12 seconds." I said giving him my smug look.

"I will make you walk really slow if you keep it up." He said taking my hand.

"Please don't." I begged.

"I won't let him do it to you baby." Zander said coming up behind me.

"Oh hon, your here. Now let's get this party started shall we?" I asked hugging Zander.

"You had to show up now, He is going to be dancing in his seat until your name is called now." Xavier complained.

"Now you know what I went through a couple years ago." Zander said sticking his tongue out at Xavier.

"Boys, can we go?" Cathy asked before hugging her son.

"Fine" Xavier said pouting.

The ceremony was too long for my liking and I wish people would learn to keep the speeches to a minute or less. When it was finally over I was tired and cranky and needed a nap. But I did get to love on my doctor until I melted. We went to a really nice dinner once everyone napped or played. Cathy and Ethan had to get back because Grandma Croft wasn't doing so well. She is 84 and cancer was being it's mean nasty self. I say fuck you cancer. Max was going home with them so he could see his parents so Xavier took them to the airport while Zander and I went for a hike. 

 "We should camp out tonight." I said. 

"We could but we have to stay in the fenced in area." He said as we made our way through the trail we had made. We had found a little pond on our property right after we had moved here and we like to hike out to it every once in a while. This is where Xavier and I made love for the first time. It was beautiful. 

"I don't mind as long as we can camp out." I said trailing my finger through some wild flowers.

"When we get back remind me to get the stuff out and you can help me set it up." He said pulling me close to him once we made it to the pond.

"Okay" I said breathless.

"I love you, baby." He said before he kissed me.

"I love you too.

We sat out  by the pond until it started to get dark. We had enough light to make it home to where Xavier had a fire going and was ready to watch a movie. This is what I love about my guys. They know me so well.

"Well camp tomorrow." I said yawning.

"Tomorrow" Zander said snuggling up to my left.

"Sounds like a plan" Xavier said pressing play and snuggling up to my right.

"I love you guys." I said with a sigh.

"Love you" The said at the same time.

This to me is the best thing in life.
