It's the last summer before senior year and Lelani is the only one out of all her friends who still doesn't have a boyfriend.
She thinks that she found the one and she's going after him

As we pull into the driveway of a huge house I gasp. "This place is huge " I say while admiring it. " I know right, it's literally like a dream house" Hannah says while taking a selfie. "I heard that the whole family was super loaded" Ashley says while applying more red lipstick in the mirror. "I wouldn't doubt it" Chrissy says.
When everyone gets finished refreshing their makeup and making sure they look presentable, we all get out of the car. Not going to lie , we look good . I honestly I fell really pretty right now, maybe there is a possibility that I can hook up with Jason . When we walk into the house it was like a scene out of a movie , it was drunk people, couples making out on the stair way , boys playing beer pong , etc. "wow" I say looking around . " Welcome to your first high school party!" Ashley says while shrieking. I let out a nervous laugh and conjoin my hands awkwardly. " hey, lani relax, it's just a party you'll be fine ok ? Let's go get some shots so you can loosen up" Hannah says as she pulls me around the corner to get drinks. As we turn the corner I see Jason outside talking to his friends when he looks at me weird.

He waves someone over and I look behind me to see who he was waving to when Hannah says "he's talking to you, go !" She says as she pushes me towards him. I keep walking towards him with butterflies in my stomach. What does he want from me ? How does he know who I am ? What if he is attracted to me?
When i get to him he smiles at me and I smile back as I sit by him. "So what are you doing here? I never see you at parties." He says looking at me . I look down and say " my friends convinced me to come." "Is this your first party?" He asks and I nod my head .
I must be so awkward right now .
Suddenly he says "you look amazing tonight" with a smile as he looks me up and down . " I-um-thanks"I barely get out . "Well I'm going to go get a drink and probably dance" I say as I Stand up. "Wait" he says and I stop . 'Hm?'I ask as I turn around , "your number, can I have it?"he asks as he looks up at me . "Um Sure" I say as I fiddle my back pockets for my phone. I Give it to him. He takes it and puts his number in,then he puts my number in his phone. "Here ya go" he says as he hands it back . "Thanks" I say as I practically run back into the house towards my friends.
"Oh.my.gosh." Ashley says as I walk towards her and the girls. I squeal as when I get to them and the start asking questions "girl what did he say?" Ashley says, " did you guys kiss?"hannah asks , "was he nice?" Chrissy asks. "Guys relax, it was just a simple conversation."I say. They all look kind of disappointed , "he asked for my number?" I say With a unsure tone . The all look up and squeal at me . "Why didn't you start with that !" Ashley says with a sigh .
I see Jason come into the house and we glance at each other briefly and I turn back towards my friends. "How about those shots" I say . We make our way towards the drinks,and I ask for a strawberry beverage. We all take about 5 shots and head to the dance floor. we're walking towards the dance floor when *insert song you choose here * comes on and we all start dancing. I've never been drunk so I'm not sure if I'm just high of life or if I'm actually drunk . I might be drunk . I'm definitely drunk. For a solid hour we just danced and took shots . We were still dancing when all of my friends boyfriends got there .
