(Y/n) wave back as she walks to Final selection.As the female walks through some towns she see a few kids having fun.She saw a boy and a girl play together. (Y/n) smile as she saw the two kids playing....it remained her as her and an old friend play together when they were together before she had to move. The (h/c)-headed girl continue walk to final selection before the sun sets and the selection starts.
𑁍Time skip-final selection𑁍 (Still narrator POV) (Y/n) may it to the selection she was right in time.As (Y/n) start to the entrance to the selection, But she stop her self as she see a familiar boy form her past.The boy had a blue kimono and a fox's mask on the side of his head. (Y/n) began to walk to the familiar boy as the boy with the fox mask turned around to see (Y/n) with widened eyes.
"(Y/n)?" The boy said as (y/n) eyes widened to see her friend again. "Tanjiro!" (Y/n) said as she and and the boy know as tanjiro ran up to each other as they hug for dear life. "(Y/n)...it's been so long." Tanjiro said."Indeed it was but...now it's over." She said as they broke the hug.
(Tanjiro POV) I can't believe that its her...my lo-I mean my friend...hehe.*sign*I can't hide it can I.I mean (y/n) is nice and beautiful when we're kids but after we broke the hug. My god she looks hot...wait...NO!BAD TANJIRO!Plus I don't know if she likes me or not. "So tanji how has it been over the passed few years?" (Y/n) said, She has the most angelic voice I ever heard and I love it."there were times And I surprise that you still use that Nick name (n/n)".(Y/n) have me a small smile and giggled.Then there was two girls one had white hair and the other on had black hair. I felt some warm on my hand,I look down to see a hand then I look up to see (y/n) holding my hand but listening to the two girls with a serious face on. I felt my face heat up as I look form (y/n) to the two girls talking about the selection.
𑁍Time skip-after explaining𑁍 (Narrator POV) Tanjiro and (Y/n) began to run to the Forest still holding hands.As both teenagers made it to there destination they let go of there hand. Tanjiro wish he can hold (Y/n) hand forever."Good luck tanjiro." (Y/n) said with a smile that made tanjiro heart melt.Tanjiro smile back."I'll see you on the other side?" Tanjiro said as (Y/n) looks at him,"I'll see you on the other side.".As they both said there words they did a hand shake they did when they were 5.

As they did there hand shake they went there ways to find demons. As (Y/n) walks to the right.tanjiro was suppose to walk to the left but decided to follow (Y/n) to make sure she is safe.Tanjiro went behind trees and try not to show him self. Its been 45 mins and no demon has come,Tanjiro wonder why there are no demons here.Tanjiro had a curious look on his face will as for (Y/n),she had a relaxing face with no fear at all.As you and Tanjiro was walk,tanjiro smell something.
