School, school, school, school, school, school, SCHOOL!

One thing I will never truly understand is why we always tend to write about impossible situations in high school. I mean come on now, who is actually gonna have their own personal Cole Stone, Alec Ryder, or River Parker? Gosh all these stories just give me false hope. Sigh if only books would come true. But since high school is what most of us girls and boys write about, I will give you guys a couple of tips.

When developing a high school, you always have to remember the following things;

Classes:
Freshmen-
Sophomore-
Juniors-
Seniors-

People:
Teachers-
Peers-
Jocks-
Queen bee-
Cheerleaders-
Nerds-
Loners-
Populars-
Counselors-
Troublemakers-
Bad boys/girls-

Random things to remember:
Mascot-
Private/Public-
Ghetto/Preppy-
Small/Big-
Rival Schools-
Uniform-
Motto-
Sportsmanship-
Colors-
After school hangouts-
.
.
.
Like I have said before, don't be afraid to add anything that I may have missed. Just have enough facts that'll guide you through your story.

Also when creating your high school, you have to remember the city that you're in. It indicates literally everything! If you have lunch indoors or outdoors, if you have PE indoors or outdoors, and etc.

Now you are ready to to write an ahh-mazing story, with ahh-mazing characters, located in an ahh-mazing city, at an ahh-mazing highschool.

Hopefully this was helpful to any of you. If not, let me know so that I am able to help y'all in anyway possible.

Also I'll be taking questions of any developments, just leave it in the comments and I will have a chapter up within a couple days.
