The man was brought forward in chains.
On a throne sat another man, shrouded in shadow. His golden eyes were fixated on the prisoner, as if seeing through his soul.
The man on the throne announced "I have gleaned thy thoughts and I judge thee guilty. Death was thy intention, and death shall thou face"
A spike shot out and plunged in the neck of the prisoner.
The blood spilt on his clothes and on the carpeted floor.
The man spoke in a half-whisper "Begone"
