Special Chapter - I Have An Interview
Interview with Louise
Me: "So, hi Louise. Right now, we're interviewing you for a special chapter!"
Her: "Well, obviously. Can you hurry up? I need to go to the canteen right now and you just appeared out of nowhere. With the cameras, lights and all."
Me: "Sorry for dragging you into this. You see, you're in a book."
Her: "Wait wait wait, you mean that my life is just a book?!"
Me: "Yes and no. It's just that explaining all of it will... you know, it's complicated."
Her: *mutters*
Me: "Let's just continue this quickly so you can go to lunch now. It's only for a little time, please?" makes puppy eyes.
Her: "Fine. Just ask whatever you want just to get this done. Plus you remind me of someone. Someone I just met like a while ago..." stared blankly.
Me: Panics."Um, l-let's skip that. Okay, who is the most important person in this school for you?"
Her: "Myself. Duh."
Me: Adjusts wig."Um, can you tell us some of your most memorable experiences in your life?"
Her: Looks nervous about it and turned red."Experiences? In my life? Well, I can tell you some of my moments in my old school since this is just an interview. It will not be showed in the tv right?"
Me: Giggles. "Yup. I will never show in the tv unless...."
Her: "What?"
Me:"Oh, it's just a silly thought. Please continue."
Her: "Well, some of the moments goes like this:
In Grade 1, I was just a little girl with double ponytails. And some of my friends, or so I thought, got mad at me for having grades higher than them. So, they kept being mad at me until I never talk to anyone. But then during Grade 3, I cried for not having friends anymore. Then one boy came near me and offered me his hand so I can stand up. And I took his hand and this time, he lend me a blue handkerchief. I thanked him for it and walked away because the bell is already ringing. I met him again the next day and returned the handkerchief because I was also forgetful at that time. But he just smiled and said that I keep it just in case. I thanked him again and I just kept looking for him on the next day and so on. One time, I looked for him everywhere but then I heard from his friends that he transferred to another school. I became sad and lonely on the way. But after the week I heard that news, someone became my best friend whom I liked and until today I have just a tiny bit of feelings for him. Did I just mention my feelings?! This is just an interview, right?"
Me: "Um, yeah. We just want to hear the story of your life. Another question, when you finally move on, who would it be after?!"
Her: "Hmm, now that you've said it... I still have no one to decide. Well, since I'm just a new student, I can't find anyone on this campus that is familiar to me. Except my friend and cousin of course. But..."
Me: "But what?"
Her: "Nothing. Just another thought. So, can I go now?"
Me: "Nope. Just a few questions left. If someone ever likes you, what will you do?"
Her: "Probably, I'm just gonna think for it for a while and say that I need to study first. And later in the future, I will ask him if he still likes me or not. Because I want someone who never gets tired at me. And no matter how long I've been deciding, he will just wait and hope."
