Sora POV:
I was in my own world as I walked down a lone forest path to my hideout. I make all of my deadly substances there as well some of my freestyle art. The only other person who I’ve told about my beautiful spot of solitude is Neji, who was waiting for me by the wall of Ivy that covered an opening in a cliffside. I walked a bit faster to meet up with him. When I reached him he asked, “ Hey Sora. How was your first day?’’
“Just fine, though relatively eventful.”
Neji chuckled a bit, his laugh ringing through the air and waking up the forest that surrounded us. “Why don’t you tell me about it?”

No one’s POV:
The two sat and talked for hours about their first days as Shinobi and about their hopes for the future. They laughed about their silly teammates and quirky senseis. Overall, the two had a great time. Unfortunately, time flies when you’re having fun as it was soon midnight.
Sora glanced at Neji. “We should get going now, it’s rather late, cha think Neji?”
“Right, lets go.”
Neji POV:
Sora and I exited the cave and began to make our way through the dense, dark forest. Owls cried out through the thick of the night and droplets of dew clung to my feet. Things were peaceful, so tranquil that I let my guard down. I was so lax around Sora that I didn’t even think to be on the lookout for any unfamiliar chakra signatures. I should have been looking…
Large, hooked chains of stone cold steel sprange from the bushes like snakes after their prey. They confined the both of us, they constricted us. It felt like drawing in a pit of boas. “Ngh, dang it!” I struggled desperately against the chains, clawing and biting at the cold metal all in vain. ‘Think Neji think! Use your head to get out of this!’
“Byakugan!” My kekkei genkai was the answer. If I could use the Byakugan to pinpoint a weak spot in the chain, I can use my chakra to break free.
My eyes darted around desperately seeking the one point that could save our lives. Unfortunately what little concentration I had was broken by a sickly sweet voice. “Mmhahaha… My oh my dear dear how long it’s been. I hope you didn’t forget about me…”
My gaze snapped to Sora who seemed unfazed by what’s happening. Did she even panic or try to break free like I did?
Sora chuckled. “Didn’t think I’d ever see you again, Nakano, Kaaru.”
The girl by the name of Nakano smiled, “Good girl. I’m glad to know that you recognize me. After all It’s been ages since I last saw you!” The chains around our bodies loosed and Nakano opened her arms, as if expecting a hug
Nakano POV:
‘Hehe, finally after all these years I’ve found the brat who befriended me and killed my father. I’ll earn her trust and kill here when she’s least expecting it. Just like what she did to my father.’ I opened my arms to allow the blind robotic freak to hug me, as if I wanted to touch her...
