Chapter 9

3rd person POV

Over a week has passed since Noya collapsed. Noya got to leave the hospital very soon because the doctors said that he had healed up quick. Noya and Suga where currently in Suga's house putting on clothes for volleyball practice. When Noya walked down the stars he saw Suga sitting in the kitchen and walked towards him. "I'm done" Noya spoke. Suga looked up from the newspaper he was reading. "Great! Let's go then" He said with a smile and the two boys put on their shoes and walked outside. On their way there Noya was really quite so Suga spoke up. "Are you nervous?" Noya looked up at him and then answered. "Yeah. I'm just really scared, what if I'm bad?" Noya was looking at the ground when he said those words. Then Suga started to laugh. Noya looked up at him in confusion. "I'm sorry it's just that you are always the one to cheer us up, don't you think that we will do the same to you?" Sugawara smiled at Nishinoya and a small smile came to his lips as well. "I'm pretty sure that the others don't care how good or bad you are, the important thing is that your'e back"

Noya and Suga was just outside the gym now. "Come one, let's greet them" Suga said as he opened the door and stepped inside. Everyone stoped at what they were doing and looked over at the doors. "I'm sorry we are late!" Suga said as he took of his shoes to change into his other ones. When Noya stepped inside the gym he was surprised. Instead of the pitting looks he thought he would get he got smiles, even from Tsukishima. "Yu! Can you receive for me?" Tanaka told his best friend. "S-sure!" Noya was surprised but just went with it and got over to Tanaka to help him. Suga smiled at Tanaka, they had a little conversation yesterday and Suga was happy that Tanaka remembered it.

Th training went on and everything was going amazing. Noya haven't been this happy since before the "accident" and all. "Noya can you come over here?" Daichi asked him. Noya looked at him and nodded. "I'll be right back Ryu!" He said before he walked over to Daichi. "Noya, we have a training game against Nekoma on Thursday, do you think you can join us?" Daichi asked him. "I, I'm not sure. I haven't been practicing since forever" Noya's voice was slow and quiet. Asahi walked past them and put his hand around his shoulders. "I bet you will do great" was all he said before he left. Noya felt is face get hot for a second before he answered, "I guess I can try"

A week had passed since Noya got back into practice and tomorrow was Wednesday with means that it was only two days until the game against Nekoma. Noya was slowly walking to school thinking everything over. He didn't really know why he was so stressed, the game wasn't today anyway. Before he know it he was outside of the big school building. He took two breaths before walking inside.
