Author's Note: I thought that the story ended a bit abruptly. I re read it and thought that an epilogue might be a good idea. This way it gives it a definitive end.
It had been weeks since the surprising events had occurred. Bethany alive? How, why?
The questions filled Dean's head.So many reasons flew around and clouded his every thought.
He saw it happen. He felt her life escape from her body. She was so young, and he regretted letting
it happen. But still, even after the shock of her death had been leaving, the shock of her being
resurrected was bigger. Death was natural; normal and inevitable. Everyone dies, everything dies.
But yet again he was an exception; well him and his brother. The Winchesters were ever living,
never dying. So maybe it wasn't that weird. Then again, she was a 'monster'. A supernatural being
and supernatural beings are generally bad. That's what his father taught him and Sam. A life of
hunting and shooting first asking questions later. So by everything he was taught, everything he
thought he knew, she was a monster. Fifteen, is young. How could a fifteen year old be a monster?
At last through his constant questioning and contemplating, Dean figured out how he thought about
this whole thing. He thought that this whole situation was for the better. A fifteen year old
who died a premature death was alive and well. She had her life and those pesky demons were
going to leave her alone. If he saw her die, then surely most of the demons saw it too. Crowley
would definitely give up the search for a dead girl. As for her power, Dean was sure that with
help, she would keep control over it. She was not evil. She wasn't even the kind of scared child
that would gladly go dark side just to keep herself safe. She was brave, she stood up for what
she believed in, and would gladly go down in a fight to save another. Bethany was alive and that
was a good thing.
