Demon Danger ( A Supernatural Fanfiction)

Chapter 4

After a few weeks, everything was fine, nothing happened. Few new jobs, involving demons, but nothing that they weren't used to. Everything was as normal as it could get for Sam and Dean.

"Hey guys" Bethany said sleepily.

"Hey".

"Another all nigher?" She leaned against the desk, peering over the laptop lid at Sam. Sam looked up and smiled.

"W-what? What's going on!?" They both looked over at Dean, who had just woken up from a nightmare. Looking around frantically, he saw Bethany and Sam looking at him, both wearing concerned looks.Dean had been having more and more nightmares. He had been hunting his entire life, so it didn't really make sense.

"Another nightmare?" Bethany asked him sweetly, looking into his green eyes. He didn't reply, just looked at Sam. Bethany could feel the tension in the room. Ever since she began staying with them, he ignored her, she didn't know why. He knew why, he knew something was weird about her, ever since he saw her hand, he had been ignoring her, delaying the inevitable. "I'll... Go get dressed then." She said disappointed. It was obvious she cared what he thought.

"Any new jobs?" Dean asked Sam.

Sam gave him a blunt look. "You could at least try." He said.

Dean was clearly avoiding the topic. "I just don't trust her, Sammy. I can't go against my gut."

"Hey guys!" Cas appeared behind them, they both jumped out of their seats.

"Damn it Cas." Dean said loudly, rubbing his eyes.

"Where's Bethany?" He asked looking at Sam then Dean. Dean looked away, clearly not interested.

"Getting changed". Sam said, even though Cas was clearly asking Dean.

"I need to speak with her." Even Cas knew how Dean felt about Bethany. He just wanted Dean to care a bit more, after all, he knew how much she cared for him.

Bethany walked into the room, as Dean walked out. Her eyes followed him Out of the room, they were filled with sadness. "I did something didn't I?" she turned to Sam, the sadness apparent in her voice.

"It's not you, it's him." Sam reassured her with a smile. In some ways he knew how she felt.

"I require your help." Cas said to her. He was straight to the point, it was urgent.

"Can't it wait?" she said, clearly annoyed. Cas looked into her eyes, and instantly she knew what had happened, and why she was needed. "Okay." And with that she was gone, Bethany saying goodbye with only a wave to Sam.

"Where did they just go?" Dean walked into the room with juice, suddenly he cared. "Beats me, but it sounded urgent". Sam shrugged, returning his view on the laptop in front of him.

It was a few hours before they returned, only Cas was alone. "Where's Bethany?" Sam asked, at this Dean's view shot right on to Cas's face. His concern was obvious, but he was trying to hide it, by crossing his arms and looking away. "She's been captured. By Crowley".
