I do like this ship

They are both from Harry Potter, but they were in the Marauders era

Yes, I know that James and Lily got married, and that Remus and Tonks were also married but it's a ship. It's not supposed to make sense.

I think that they could be a good couple!

Remus, he is very smart and down to earth. He worries a lot and Lily has a very calming aura and is kind and patient, he needs that. She would comfort him in his times of need. Remus is very sensitive and Lily is very kind hearted so I think they would be great together. Remus is a half blood and Lily is a muggle born, so they both understand muggle things. When it is Remus' "time of the month" Lily would learn to be an Animagus and stay with him when he is a werewolf. Though unlike the marauders, I feel like she would be a registered one.

They are very alike in many ways. They are both exceptionally smart and love to learn. They got good grades in school. Both of them fight for what's right and are protective. They both are Gryffindor's, so they have most of those traits in common. Like bravery and courageousness. For example: When Voldemort came to kill James, Lily, and Harry, Lily didn't just step aside. She fought for her and Harry's life. 

Lily is more fiery and fierce. I'm not saying that Remus wouldn't fight when needed to, but Lily is more likely to punch someone in the face. She is more violent than he is. If she was angry and started to get violent, he would probably calm her down. She liked to throw things at James, and if the time was right and James really deserved it, I think Remus would let it happen.

I absolutely love this ship and I think that it could work well. But I know that both Lily and Remus married other people and were happy with them.
