  This is the first time I've written anything about myself or the things that have happened in my life during the military. I hope you all enjoy!

River's POV

  God I absolutely HATE duty days! There's literally nothing to do but muster and clean, muster and clean. It's so boring. I cannot wait until I reach my first duty station so I don't have to do this anymore. At least this is the second to last muster of the day and all I have to do is sit in the duty shack.

"Felix?" AWO2 called out. She's an aircrew second class and one of the most gorgeous people I've ever met.

"Felix!" I yelled back, standing in ranks for muster.

  After all the names were called, AWO2 gave instructions on what we were going to be doing for the next 2 hours. She said we were good for chow and to meet back in the courtyard at 2030 hours. I usually just order food from Waitr, so I went into the duty shack and got to thinking about what I wanted to eat.

"Hey Felix!" shouted Cirell. She was one of my closest friends here.

"Hey Cirell! You hanging with me in the shack?" 

"Yeah, what's on the menu for tonight?"

"I don't know yet. I'm trying to figure that out right now."

  We started looking at the restaurants Waitr supports. This was always the hardest part of the day...finding out what to eat! After about 10 minutes of searching, we finally decided on Wing Stop and got to ordering our dinner.

"Sooo,,while we wait, what do you wanna do?" Cirell asked me while hanging upside down in a chair.

"Uhh I don't know. Wanna go on Omegle or someth-...what the fuck are you doing?" I asked laughing as she begins to twirl while upside down.

  She laughed and just looked and me, "I don't know what I'm doing.." she said as she got up and sat right in the chair. "I heard there was this new app. It's like Omegle, but less creepy guys."

"I mean..okay." I said laughing. "What's it called?"

"Monkey. It should be on the App Store." She told me reaching for her phone. "Can we do it on your phone? Mine's dying."

"Yeah we can." I began searching for the app on the store and downloaded it as soon as I found it.

  Soon after the app downloaded, the food showed up. I went and signed the receipt and brought the food back to the duty shack. I set everything up and began dividing the food for me and Cirell. I got honey mustard wings, and before y'all say anything, they're actually really good. Cirell got these Hawaiian BBQ wings I've never heard of before. 

"So do you wanna set this thing up after we eat or now?" I said looking at her with a mouthful a wing.

"Let's do it after" She said.

"Mkay!" I nodded and continued eating.

  ~*~

"Hey, you done eating? I'm about to throw this shit out." I heard Cirell ask me from behind her phone.

"Yeah, go ahead, ima set this Monkey thing up!"

  Cirell had walked out the hut to take the trash and grab some cleaning supplies. Wings are messy okay?! Don't come at us for leaving sauce on the counter. It took me about 5 minutes to fully set the app up, and now I was just waiting for her to finish doing whatever the fuck it is that she's doing before I go jumping on chats with strangers. 

What the fuck is taking her so long? This bitch is always getting side tracked by the tiniest of distractions. I swear to God..she's like a golden retriever.

I continue to be lost in my thoughts as I hang upside on a spiny chair, thinking about anything and everything under the sun. All of a sudden I hear cackling behind me, so I do a quick 180 just to see Cirell on her knees, face red, with tears running down her cheeks.

"What..in the FUCK..are you doing?!" She manages to get out in-between gasps of air. I just glare at her an make a quick snarky remark that it looks like she just got fucked in her throat with how red she is along with the streams of tears on her face. She quickly shut up and threw a light punch to my stomach.

"ahh fuck" I grunt as a flip backwards off the chair. Standing up I glare at her for second time in not even 5 minutes and grumble incoherently about how she was bitch and I should smack her for punching me.

"What was that?" She asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Nothing honey! I looovveee youuuu!" I said with an innocent smile.

"Mhmm.." she looked at me skeptically, "let's just get started already shall we?" 

  We both set my phone up on the counter and start to look through the home page of the app, not really knowing what we were exactly looking at. Eventually we got it all figured out and started to talk to people. We talked to anyone you could think of; people who love the military, guys who just thought it was hot we served and wanted nudes, girls who wanted us introduce them to our guys friends, and many, many more. It wasn't until the last call we decided we were gonna take that we met them. Two Marines stationed in Japan who had no connection to us two lonely Sailors all the way in Florida. Little did I know at that time, that these to boys, would play some of the biggest roles in my life and who I became as a person. They would end up becoming my best friends.
