Not a Crime (Duke Depp)

Surprise!

As you sleep, you wonder what Duke is doing. Its really late at night. All you know is that you heard wrapper, and his calm deep voice humming a soft lullaby. You know Duke doesn't do anything bad so you are more excited. Being the impatient person you are you get up and say, "Duke. I cant sleep."

He hides his thing / and hugs you, dimming the lights. "Okay y/n. I'll cuddle you." He says. He leads you to the room, and you sit down. You play with his hair and he just seems to think. You hug him tightly on his left arm and on his right hand, he's playing with your hair. Before you fell into a deep sleep, you can feel Duke get up. You let it go and hug the pillow.

Next Day.

The sunrise. Supposedly a young couple in sweatshirts, and the girl crossing her legs, as her body are against his. One arm holding a beverage but the other hanging tight to the partners. Thats what you and Duke were doing. Today, Duke decided to wear his glasses. You wore yours too, and it slightly tipping off. "I love you." Duke says. "I love you." You say. "I want you to go somewhere today babe. I have something planned." Duke says. "Okay." You say, holding his hand tighter. "But.. for now, lets enjoy our time alone."

Of course, you have to get ready. You turn on the shower and sit on the side of the bath until it's the perfect temperature. Duke joins and you wash his hair. You add conditioner before he could decline. "It smells good." He says. You smile. Once you get out, you toss on a robe and a cucumber face mask. You dry your hair and softly remove the face mask. Once your done, you go to the closet to pick out some nice clothes. You put on an off shoulder crop, and white, ripped jeans. You get your bag and do only a bit of makeup. You curl your hair and sit on the couch. Chestnuts not there, and hes with your mom in her home right now. "Bye Duke!" You say. "Bye. Be safe. I love you." He says, kissing your forehead.

When you go into the car, the ac's already been going, and you see a big wrapped bag. You open it and see a beautiful dress. Including shoes, matching jewelry, and more small surprises. At the end of the bag it says; "From Duke. Wear this tonight okay? I love you. -Duke." Before you start driving, you take a look at the dress. You pull out your phone and text Duke, "Thaks babe! I love you ❤️"  He responds with a selfie and another "ily".

When you get to the destination Duke sent you, you see a few friends waving. You park the car and carry the bags. You have a nice greeting and go in the house.

After a nice day, it reaches 5:30 pm and you put in the dress. You feel like a Disney Princess. Dukes close friends walk you outside. Duke is wearing a tie, and long pants. He has his hair fixed and highlighted. Hes holding a rose. "Duke!" You say.

Two Days Ago..

"I want to make our relationship public. I want to do something crazy. I want to" he cuts off there.

Now, its today. No one else knows about your relationship yet. He had a rose pathway, fancy candles, and a glass of wine on each table. Duke nods his head. "Will you be my girlfriend?" Says Duke. "Yes Duke. Yes." You hug him. He gives you the rose. If a girlfriend proposal makes you tear eyed.. how will you handle the overwhelming marriage proposal?

People hype you up. It's coming as a YouTube video. After dinner, it's you and Duke. You have to film a YouTube video. You and Duke drive home.

When you go in the apartment you and Duke set the camera on the couch. Its filming—
"You start off." Duke says.

"No." You say.

Duke kisses your forehead.

"Hello everyone. From the {edited} clip first added before this.. Yes. We are in a relationship." Duke says, holding your hand.

"Yes! Dukey Pookey." You say.

"I'm so sorry if your heart was broken!" Duke says. You laugh.

After random conversation, the video ends.

"Hm." You say. "Well. Wanna go to Saddle Ranch?" You ask.

"Yes." Duke says.

"Aight let me change me clothes." You say. You quickly throw on a jacket and and leggings. The night goes on and its just you and Duke, a public couple. Its only been 2 weeks as a couple, yet 7 years as friends. Duke shares his food. What a surprise. He orders a big jug of coke while you stay with a basic Caesar's Salad.  Your mouth is covered with salad dressing, and Duke wipes it. "Your a messy eater." Duke says. "Hey.." you say. "Can I have some coke?" You ask again. "No." Duke says roughly. "Haha." He says.

You decide to walk back to the apartment, in the dark cold, holding Dukes arm. Safely. When you gett home, you and Duke are so tired and sleep on the couch.
