          Kate's POV:

After a long day of school work I usually go to the cliff where I ate dinner the night before but today was cold and windy so I decided against it. Instead I just went into the old library on campus that no one uses. I had almost completely forgotten about the night before, including Alexa.

I was sitting in the library looking through the books per usual when I heard footsteps. That's unusual, usually I'm alone in here. A woman, who looked only a couple years older than me, walked in and jumped when she saw me.

"Gah! H-hello!" She waved sheepishly. I looked up from my book and met her eyes. Deep hazel eyes. Once we made eye contact she gasped and ran away. My mother always tells me that I have a very intimidating gaze. The only one it didn't affect was Lucas.

I went back to reading and for some reason just couldn't focus on my book but, I couldn't pinpoint it so I just went back to my dorm. I softly pulled my bag over my shoulder and slid the book under my armpit. I walked down the long hallways and stairwells to get out the front door of campus. I got in my car and drove about 5 minutes to the dormitories.

As I walked in I heard laughing from the other students but, not wanting to attract too much attention, decided to avoid any sort of contact with them all and just sped up the stairs. I heard a very quiet, almost silent, cry from inside all the laughing but I just ignored it and went into my room.

I sat down at my desk and laid my book down on my desk while opening my laptop. I looked up at my white board and saw the name I had written down. Oh right, I never got to listen to that song! I went onto YouTube and searched them up.

I ended up putting on a playlist of all their songs. The first on titled, "Girls." This is the song I heard last night! The song was great, and they quickly became my favourite artists.

Why do I like this song so much? I'm not lesbian. This isn't relatable in the slightest. Is it...?

After reading and listening to music for about an hour I put away all my stuff and decided to go to Starbucks. It's been awhile since I've been there, plus I could really use a coffee right now.
As I was leaving the building, I saw my classmates giggling over their phones. Probably just some social media thing, honestly, how do these people even pass classes?

3rd person POV:

Jason and Eric has found Alexa's Instagram and we're looking through all her pictures. None of them were of her, only of sunsets and flowers. Mostly just photography. They were laughing at how bad the pictures and that they could do way better.

Kate finally made it to Starbucks and walked in. The wave of heat hit her as she walked through the place. She walked up to the counter blindly and was ready to order.

She looked up and saw the woman at the counter talking to her friend. She harshly knocked on the counter and the woman turned around. Alexa, was all Kate could think.

Alexa gasped and fell back into her friends arms. "Alexa! Hey, what's wrong?" The girl who looked no older than me lifted Alexa's head up.

Alexa whispered something into the other girls ear, too quiet for Kate to hear. The other woman's eyes widened and she called out to one of the other people working there. As someone came over to take Alexa's spot, the woman shot Kate a death glare and led Alexa to the back room.

Kate's POV:

I wonder what that was about. Well, It doesn't make a difference to me what she feels. I ordered a Vanilla Latte and went back to my car. I pulled the seatbelt over my waist but something was on my mind.
