" Well I could try to do it on my own but you're the expert on ladybug and I thought maybe you would be interested? I was hoping that you already have a theory on who ladybug can be. Maybe I can help you find out if your theory is correct?" Chat said.
"Pfft- please. I run THE LADYBLOG, of course I have a theory! Actually, there are only a few girls that can be ladybug according to me."
" Really, who are they."
" Well, based on ladybugs appearance and character, there are only two likely suspects that I know of. I could be wrong but the only people I know that could be ladybug are Kagami tsurugi and Marinette dupain cheng."
"YOU'RE JOKING ARENT YOU" chat noir's brain was moving at 100 miles per hour. he couldn't believe he didn't suspect them. he always thought that Kagami was too serious to be ladybug, but he could be wrong. after all, when he's chat noir he acts nothing like himself either. and Marinette, he always thought she was too clumsy but maybe she was just like that in front of him. His lady and her suspected identity was driving him crazy. Adrien stood there in shock trying to process what happened
" Hello?? chat noir? are you there?" Alya said waving a hand in front of his face trying to get him to snap out of his dazed state.
" Kagami and marinette. Okay. So..?"
" So we have to keep a close eye on both of them."
"Wait so if you knew that it was either Marinette or Kagami, why haven't you figured it out yet?"
"Well, with running the ladyblog, studying and the frequent Akuma attacks I don't have time. But if both of us work together we can figure it out."
"Ok so what's the plan?" chat inquired.
"Listen closely."
I'M ALIVEEE!!!!!! I didn't die. Well, I almost died but I didn't!! I'm sooo sorry I haven't been able to update. I've been so busy with exams and my family getting covid-19 and travelling and sooo much more stuff. I promise to start updating more often. The next chapter will be out in a few days. Byee!
EDIT: I'm back in the fandom and I'm redoing this fic because it's my favourite out of all the fics I've written and I'm also hoping to post it on ao3 too. anyways this book is now under editing and once I've finished editing this thing I'll probably post more chapters. old me's writing was so cringy and full of weird mistakes that I just couldn't stand it, also I'm changing my username.
AND OH MY GOD THIS CHAPTER WAS SO SHORT! this is honestly embarrassing. whatever, I'm not fixing it now that would ruin the pacing of the story
