Me and shane had been friends for a long time. Fan girls all around the world had been shipping us together since we kissed for the dare the Dawson video. I thought nothing of it then, but what if this was more than a friendship? We have kissed countless times on camera, but what would his reaction be if it was real? I couldn't think that way. We both had girlfriends. But it was all I could think about anytime we hung out.

There was a knock at my door. I went downstairs to go answer it but Cali, my girlfriend, had already opened the door. "Hey joey" shane said "when did you and Cali move in together?" He continued. Cali looked at me with a odd look on her face. "We haven't" I told shane. "Oooo awkward" shane said. "Well I have to go to work" said Cali trying to make the situation less awkward. "Bye babe" I said giving her a kiss. The only reason I said that was to convince myself that shane and I were nothing more than friends.

"What do you want to do for video?" Shane asked. "I don't know" I replied. My heart was racing. I just wanted to say I love you, but I couldn't. "Ok, better question, what do YOU want to do." He said putting an extra emphasis on 'you'. I was nervous. could he tell what I was thinking? I didn't know what to say and I just blurted it out. "WORLD CAFÉ!" I yelled. "What?" Was his response. "Let's go eat lunch at world café. Then we can go to the store and find stuff for a video." I tried to say something completely random so I didn't blurt out my real secret.
