BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE ─── lee yara was born on november 8th, 2001, as the third child and only girl, to the famous ceo's lee hyunsik and choi jieun. yara would say her life as a toddler was fairly well. she had two loving and playful older brothers, jihoon and seokmin, and two loving yet strict parents. until one day, her mother left, no goodbyes or no explanations from her father. yara's life had turned for the worse and she didn't even have the chance to adjust. her father became more strict about his children's grades, nothing below a 99 was excepted after test scores came out, not to mention how hard he pushed his children to learn the ways of being in the his direct line of business. success became a must and anything that altered his children's chances of being anything other than that was forbidden. going to parties and group hangouts weren't allowed unless they were business related or study groups. relationships were seen as distractions... this would become a big problem for lee hyunsik and his children and he didn't mind taking extreme measures to make sure his children understood that.
