I’ll never get to tell you now.
I didn’t need you,
But yet I craved for you,
I didn’t know you,
But yet I wanted you,
Why did I care when you were always there,
My heart was a chance but love I dared,
Everything I touch shattered like glass,
My figure was one of many stone of brass,
Letting you in helped me take a huge leap,
I thought you being like me you would be mine to keep,
In your dreams humanity was freedom,
I never believed I could ever again be part of that scene,
Being with you was looking backwards,
That’s the mistake I made to move forwards,
Dwelling in the past doesn’t do good,
All I did was trap myself in a forever ending doom,
Shutting out the face of humanity to avoid the pain,
Your dream slid off the wall that was casted by my frame,
My heart thumped one, two, three, never again,
Fighting back the tears to avoid falling like rain.
Looking down at your motionless figure in my arms,
Your skin now a pale blue,
Knowing I was the cause for you to die,
I would again forever live my life as a lie.
My heart turning back into a stone sea,
I blew my last breath “I could never be the person she wanted me to be”.

What do you think!? This poem was inspired by The vampire diaries Season 2 episode 12 - aka when Damon lost/killed Rose and was finding it hard to Cope! I felt soooo Emotional! :'(
