This chapter contains a gay ship within the Fairy Tail fandom as well as aged up characters. Apologies if this, for any reason, makes you uncomfortable.
Enjoy.
Wendy sneakily crept down the dark, quiet hallways of Fairy Tail high school. It was dead of the night, and Wendy knew that if she got caught, it would be game over for her.
When Wendy first started at Fairy Tail, she was mere fourteen year old girl with close to no social skills, and the only friend she had was her cat, Carla, and her adoptive sister, Erza Scarlet. That was until she met her big sisters friends, and gained confidence in who she was, and who she wanted to be.
While her sister and her friends radiated and were in college, Fairy Tail college (the school went from elementary to college, something that shocked Wendy), they still shared dorm, one for boys, one for girls. That meant she still got to hang out with the girls and occasionally the boys, meaning she wasn't all that lonely.
Of course, she had some friends who were in her age group. Like Romeo for instance, whose sarcasm and snide comments never failed to leave her laughing, or Coco, a sweet and funny girl who had a weird obsession with Lucy, though Wendy chose to ignore that. Then their was Gonzales, who was Lucy's younger adoptive sister, had a weird rivalry with Coco, and was oddly possessive of Lucy, but again, Wendy chose to ignore that.
Then their was Chelia.
Wendy had met Chelia when they were twelve and had been attending an academic school tournament. Wendy was originally a bit put off by her, after all, the first thing Chelia suggested was pray painting Sabertooth Academy, where the tournaments where taking place. While Wendy was originally very against the idea, Chelia managed to convince her and Wendy shocked herself when she actually had fun pray painting the school. Looking back on it, Wendy had close to no regrets, she made a new friend, and got to retaliate against a school who was tormenting her friends, it was a win win.
While Chelia often convinced Wendy to do things that would most likely her her in trouble, Wendy found she didn't mind that much, and would happily go along with any idea the pink headed girl came up with, and even think of some pranks to play herself.
All in all, it was a lovely friendship.
Though lately, Wendy found herself feeling...weird around Chelia. Whenever she was around her, she would feel butterflies in her stomach, and a sudden urge to hug her, feel her skin against hers. It confused Wendy a bit, while she new what it was like to have a crush, it seemed she was still in denial about her feelings, as well as her sexuality.
The thought made Wendy stop from her quiet stroll through the hallway. The questioning of her sexuality had been popping up in her head far more than what she would have liked. Especially since she was getting closer and closer to an answer, if she had it her way, she would gladly still be deep in denial, if only for a few more months. It was far to stressful.
"Wendy?"
Blinking rapidly, Wendy swiftly turned around only to find Erza staring at her, a stern look on her face to mask her concern over her precious little sister.
"Oh my, it is you," Erza stated, a bit taken back that Wendy was up so late. A frown fell on her lips. "Why are you up so late? And roaming the school of all things?" She asked with a furrowed brow.
Putting on her best sleepy face, she responded, "I couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd just go walking around the school." While it was a bit far fetched, Erza could genuinely believe that Wendy was just waking around the school out of boredom.
