School is kinda taking a toll on me, So I was looking through my old poems, And I found this poem, It's dated back to 8/15/2020, The day before I published "Dear Parents", And it's the first Dear Parents poem I've ever made, So it's not the best. I decided to publish it..
Here we go-
Dad, The power you seized,
Being the head of the family, Why can't you say please?
The anger on your face, You sure are mad,
You make me sad, I hope you are glad,
Brother, Don't we help one another?
Did you forget, Or something other?
You look up to me,
But, You make me sad, Aren't you filled with glee?
Mother, Why are you so mean?
So clever at comebacks, So very keen.
Sometimes the worse of them all,
Why'd you have to rise, So I fall?
Why is life sometimes so mean?
Can't you give us a bit better? Where have you been?
Once the lights of my life,
But, Sometimes, The reason I fall from my strife.
